Ukraine likely aims to maintain control over some of the territory, particularly the southern flank of the Seim River in Kursk Oblast. The Kursk offensive is somewhat of a two-level game; events in Kursk could influence what happens in Ukraine's Pokrovsk, and vice versa. 8/10
