Most won't recognize the two witnesses for who they are. I'm not even sure they will know themselves until well into their ministry. They will be a giant pain in the world's ass though, and by the end they are known widely enough that many celebrate their death. I don't believe people will think they are the antichrist and false prophet, chiefly because the antichrist and fp deceive many, and the witnesses aren't popular like that, nor will they be in political or worldly positions of power and authority. Their power comes from above not from men. God chooses the simple and unassuming, the foolish and small things to shame the wise and confound the self exalted. Their ministries are meant to emulate Christs's; this is the highest honor that can be bestowed on mortal flesh, to live, suffer, and die as our Master, only to rise again in the face of all who doubted. They will likely be two new people, brought into the world the old fashioned way, but their lives and personalities will closely resemble those of Moses and Elijah, and other prophets as well. Ultimately all the men of God strive to be like Christ. They will be no different and they come closer than anyone ever has before.
