///Izuku's POV/// - Izuku tossed and turned in his makeshift nest, feeling so very uncomfortable. The sheets were too rough, the blanket too thin, and there being only one pillow was a crime.
Izuku's omega whimpered as well, and for once since he presented earlier that day, the two agreed on something. A soft knock at the door snapped Izuku back into the present. "Deku?" it was Mina's voice.
"C-coming" Izuku called out, untangling himself from the sheets and blankets and stumbling to the door. He cracked it open, and found Mina, a fellow omega bonded to Kirishima, at the door. She was holding a minky blanket in a soft shade of pink.
Izuku's omega whined loudly at the sight. /WANT!/ it begged. "I-is that for-" Izuku began. Mina grinned. "Yup! I heard you presented, and figured you might like something for your nest!" Izuku reached out and ran a hand over it. /So soft.../
His omega purred loudly, and Izuku could feel the sound rumbling up through his chest and into his throat, making Mina giggle. /NEED! Ours???/ his omega asked. /Ours./ Izuku agreed with a soft smile, and took the blanket and rubbed it against his cheek.
/Perfect.../ Mina grinned. "It's pretty big, do you think it's enough, or-" /More?/ Izuku's omega perked up at the possibility of more, but Izuku shushed it.
/This is plenty! I don't need any more./ he thought, slightly wishing it were in a more sensible shade, but the sensory relief the blanket brought him was undeniable. "I don't think I need anything else," he said, but he knew his eyes had widened at the possibility of more.
She was so nice to do this for him, bringing this from her own nest-! "Thank you so much, Mina," Izuku said, his voice breaking slightly and tearing up a little. Mina winked. "No problem, Deku! Don't worry about it!"
She left, and Izuku set to work adding the blanket to his nest. He decided to make it the lining, since it was so very soft. He curled up on top of it, his omega purring loudly.
He smelled the faintest trace of Mina's scent, a warm but sharp combination of jasmine and oranges as he rubbed his cheek against the silky soft faux fur fabric. But Mina must have spread the word, because soon, Izuku's nest was no longer empty.
