Their mother thought it’d be a good idea for them to learn “domestic chores”. You know, to enrich their learning, foster independence, and to stop annoying her for a few minutes. “Should we tell mom?” “/You/ can tell mom,” Touya snarks. “Tell her it was your idea. Not mine.”
This was also meant to be a sibling bonding activity. “It was an accident.” Touya tsks. “Excuses, Sho. Sorry won’t replace dad’s shirt.” Shoto looks down dejected, knowing full well he was the one who stuffed the red endeavor sock in the washing machine. On accident.
“Don’t look so mopey. Come here.” Touya wraps his arms around his brother and squeezes. “Mistakes happen. That’s why, as your older brother, it’s my job to guide you on the proper way to handle things.” Shoto sniffs, nodding. “I’m sorry, Touya. Can you show me what to do?”
Touya ruffles his hair. “Of course, Sho.” Shoto watches as Touya grabs the pink shirt and begins walking out the room. Like a baby duckling, Shoto follows. “First I’ll show you how to burn clothing without evidence.” Touya smirks. “Then I’ll teach you what gaslighting means.”
Shoto smiles with relief, following Touya’s step. After all, his big brother was so smart. He always knew what to do. …And from then on, Endeavor wardrobe continues to shrink with no plausible explanation.
