☕ #taekookau where Jeon Jeongguk, 37, executive director of one of the country's leading entertainment companies, always stops by their local café before going to his afternoon meetings, but one day, instead of getting just coffee, he also found himself bagging a—sugar baby?

Taehyung then sighed, debating whether or not to tell Jimin about what it was that was bugging him, before realizing that if it's not Jimin, he didn't really have anybody else to talk to about what's going on in his life. +

"Look. We kissed. Me and him, I mean. We kissed—maybe a bit more than just a kiss? But you get the gist, right?" Taehyung said, still a bit hesitant to proceed. Nevertheless, he said it.

"Yeah? Well, isn't that a good thing? I mean, you two were in that kind of relationship, right?" Jimin replies, trying to decipher Taehyung's issue with Jeongguk.

"Exactly... But it's been two weeks, and—gosh, this is so embarrassing," Taehyung mumbled, his hands shooting up to hide his flushed face.

"Now, I'm totally invested. Spill," Jimin said, sounding more assertive as he kept his gaze on Taehyung until the latter finally turned to face him again with a deep exhale.

"Fine, we haven't—we haven't gone all the way yet," Taehyung whispered, his voice so quiet that Jimin almost missed what he said.

"Huh?" Jimin then sat up, looking somewhat taken aback. "And what's wrong with that? He's letting you stay at his place, and he's given you his credit card, right?+

I mean, having sex isn't mandatory for sug*r babies, Tae. If he's in the mood for it, trust me, he's going to ask you for it," Jimin said, speaking from his own experience.

"I know that, but you don't understand; he's clearly attracted to me. He wants me, but he keeps holding back, and it's f*cking me up. It's like some sort of voodoo sh*t; the more he rejects my advances, the more I think about him." Taehyung rambles,+

lowering his head and pulling on his hair, looking both flustered and frustrated. Jimin, on the other hand, has no idea how to react since he has never seen Taehyung be so perturbed by anyone—other than his pain-in-the-ass brother, that is.

Taehyung has actually dated a few people in the past, both men and women, but as far as Jimin knows, he has never been the first to ask anybody out, and almost all of his previous relationships were not even serious.

Most of the people Taehyung dated went after him because of his appearance, and Taehyung agreed to go out with them simply because he has never been good at rejecting others.

It's always been like that, and most of the time, it worked well for Taehyung, given that his previous partners spoiled him rotten by buying him meals and even paying some of his bills—that is, +

until they got tired of him and left him after realizing that, aside from having a pretty face, someone like Taehyung wasn't really capable of providing them with anything.

Jimin can still remember how hard Taehyung cried the first time he was dumped; at the time, Taehyung was so distraught that Jimin feared Taehyung would be unable to move on—but he did.+

Taehyung was able to pick himself up and go back to normal after only a few days of his first breakup. Then it happened again and again, and the more it went on, the less Taehyung cried, until one day he just stopped.

Jimin then saw Taehyung go through his breakups, and whenever Jimin asked whether he was okay, Taehyung would simply smile and assure him that he's fine and that it was meant to happen anyway.

It led Jimin to assume that Taehyung, his one best friend in the world, had lost trust in love and life itself, having succumbed to his fear of being abandoned. "Tae... I really don't know what to say—"

"Yeah, right! I know, I honestly have no idea what's going on too. I can't get him out of my mind. I want to know what's holding him back—why is he holding back? He wants me, I can tell, but somehow it's not enough... I want him to want me more— +
