I've been thinking about this potential situation the whole day and... Now I kinda want a fic where perhapse the kingdom of Xianle is in need so the King strikes a deal with the crimson dragon — x.com/Ying_anSanren/…

You see, the king is in dedperate times — so much so that he's even willing to offer his own son, a virginal sacrifice, in return for the crimson dragon's help. To that the dragon agrees. But then perhaps the king's conscience comes to word, and he adds,

"You shall get your prize when the two of us meet on the sun at midnight." The king foolishly thinks that he had beaten the dragon in wisdom — because how could they meet on sun? It's too hot even for the dragon to touch it.

However, not a few years pass when the king takes his son out hunting, and they set camp in old palace ruins, that were left to the wilderness long ago. There they decide to spend the night, exhausted from the long day.

But as midnight strikes the two are awoken to the sight of the majestic dragon in a glittering armor of crimson scales. "The prize you promised," the dragon says in words that make the king's blood run cold. But he gathers himself and doesn't show his fear.

"There is no prize for you here," he replies. "I said you would get it when the two of us meet on the sun at midnight. There is no sun here." Yet the dragon only chuckles. Then it lowers its head and blows through its nosdrils, blowing away a layer of red maple leaves

to reveal an old palace floor, decorated with a fresc of a golden sun. A sun they were standing on. Foolish was the king for thinking he could outsmart a dragon. Instead he himself got outsmarted and lost his only child.

Right there the dragon grabs the young prince in his claws and rises to the sky. Xie Lian is understandably frightened, thinking that surely he's going to be eaten. However, the dragon's intrntions are quite different.

You see, coincindentally, today is the collective birthday of his monstrous sons. And this little human will be a lovely gift for them to play with...

[I'm too lazy to write it into a fic so if anyone would like to get inspired, you have my blessing!]
