#omegaLWJseason ...omega warprize LWJ is displayed at the wen indoctrination in front of the other sect disciples. WX tries to humiliate him by making him give WX a bondbite. LWJ lowers his eyes, leans forward, rests his teeth gently on WX's neck... And he rips WX's throat out.
and, like. the scene before this happens is: WX's dropped by the indoctrination to show off his new warprize to his brother and the other sects - and it's LWJ, dressed in gauzy red robes with his hands and feet chained, standing docilely at WX's side and staring at nothing.
LWJ is completely unresponsive, even when WWX starts shouting and threatening to kill WX and WC. Even when WZL restrains WWX. Even when WX grabs LWJ by the hair and yanks his head back, setting his sword at LWJ's exposed throat. This last thing is what finally makes WWX stop.
WX smirks at WWX, who now has several swords + WZL's hand aimed at him. "You're so /defensive/ of him, Wei-gongzi," he says. "Is he yours?" WWX looks like he very much wants to start shouting again. "Lan Zhan's not anyone's," he grits out. "What have you—why is he—"
his eyes go to LWJ, whose head is still tilted back by WX's hand in his hair. LWJ's staring up at the sky. He looks like he's detached himself completely. What has WX /done/ to him, WWX thinks despairingly. LWJ is proud, stubborn, unflinching. What could make him act like this?
(cw for threat of/suspected noncon and future gore, which i probably should've mentioned earlier. sorry!) WWX wonders the worst. But he can see almost all of LWJ's body through the too-thin robes he's wearing, and there are no hand-shaped bruises, no bite marks.
LWJ's scent is carefully guarded, giving away none of his emotions, but he still smells like himself. WWX breathes in and lets the faint trace of LWJ's scent soothe him. WX notices. "You're sure he's not yours?" he asks dismissively. "You're /smelling/ him."
Then, before WWX can answer, he uses the hand in LWJ's hair to tilt LWJ's head to the side. He shoves his nose behind LWJ's ear and inhales. LWJ doesn't even react. "To be fair," WX says casually, like WWX isn't 2 seconds away from tearing him apart, "he /does/ smell delicious."
WX opens his mouth and, very lightly, rests his teeth against LWJ's neck. Presses down just hard enough for the skin to give. "I could bite him," WX murmurs. "Claim him right here, in front of all of you. He wouldn't even resist - would you?" He directs this last part at LWJ.
LWJ stares at the horizon and says nothing. WX snickers. "But I don't want you in my head all the time," he says off-handedly. "So I won't. But I have a better idea." He grabs LWJ's chin and turns his face towards him. LWJ looks past WX's ear and doesn't react.
"I think," WX says conversationally, "you should bite me." "You son of a /bitch/," WWX hisses. WZL places a hand on his chest. WX taps his knuckle against LWJ's cheek. "You should probably just listen, you know," he says in LWJ's ear. "Or your friend there might lose his core."
finally, LWJ's first reaction: his eyes snap to where WWX is standing, WZL beside him. He lowers his gaze. Gives the tiniest, most imperceptible nod. "Good," WX says, tilting his head back. He pushes LWJ's face down towards his neck. "Go ahead."
(i'm a bit rusty on my abo technicalities, like which way the bondbite runs. let's just say that LWJ biting WX will create a half-bond where LWJ feels WX's emotions, but not the other way around. without a full bond, the bondbite will eventually heal and leave no mark on WX.)
(also, please remember that WC is just there, fuming on the sidelines bc his brother's stolen a) the show and b) WC's fancy bodyguard. older siblings are the worst.)
LWJ leans down and closes his teeth over WX's scent gland. He hesitates. "Lan Zhan, don't do it," WWX says desperately. "Don't, you'll have to taste him, you'll—" "Hurry up," WX snaps. WZL moves his hand to WWX's throat. LWJ breathes in, breathes out, and bites down.
(cw for gore) LWJ bites down much, MUCH harder than a bondbite requires. his teeth go straight through WX's muscle. WX screams and tries to rip LWJ off, but LWJ grabs his arms and pins him as his teeth meet in the middle of WX's neck. WZL throws WWX aside and goes for LWJ.
now, at this point in time, LWJ would realistically die. or have his core melted. he is a) chained, b) weaponless and c) probably exhausted. but because this is an au and i do what i want, LWJ does not die, because he uses WX's twitching body as a human shield.
WZL's hand slams against WX's sternum, and WX gurgles as he chokes on his own blood. LWJ makes eye contact w WZL over WX's shoulder and spits out a chunk of WX's throat. WX dies a very painful death. (WWX, watching: well mark me down as scared AND horny)
WC is screaming for the other wen guards to attack LWJ, but none of them want to get close to WZL. What if they get hit instead? Does WC care? No, he does not. Does he grab multiple guards by their collars and shove them at LWJ, almost directly in WZL's path? Why, yes he does.
(realistically, LWJ would probably get stabbed. however this is minimal angst so no LWJ-stabbing here! 😤) so a lot of the wen guards conveniently end up unconscious and coreless on the floor. which, hm! means that there are a lot of spiritual swords lying around unattended!
