I'm 71. I'm a microbiologist. I've helped 1,600+ people get lean, fit and strong without drugs, peptides or SARMs.

Most of you followed me in the last few months. Here's how I manage my own health... and how I help my clients reclaim theirs in about an hour a week:

Before we get into anything else, let's lay the foundation.

Body composition is the whole game. Getting lean, fit, and strong isn't vanity or aesthetics... it's the single biggest lever you have over how your body ages.

Get this right first. Everything else is decoration.

What most people miss:

Body composition is the lever you actually control.

You can't directly improve your metabolic health, buy insulin sensitivity, or supplement your way to better inflammation markers. It doesn't work like that.

But you CAN lose fat and build muscle. And when you do, the metabolic improvements follow automatically.

That's why body comp is the foundation. Not because lean and strong is the end goal... because it's the one thing you can move directly that moves everything else with it.

I don't buy the premise that you need drugs, peptides or SARMs to get and stay lean at 50, 60 or 70.

These compounds can have legitimate uses. That's not my fight.
P.D. Mangan Health & Freedom Maximalist πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
@Mangan150
My fight is the assumption that fit-past-50 means chemically enhanced. That if you're lean at 60, you must be on something.

That assumption has become an excuse not to try. I'm 71. I'm not on any of it. Neither are the overwhelming majority of my clients.

I'm not anti-carb. I eat rice, potatoes, and fruit every week. I've never had a client whose problem was a baked potato.

The problem is processed food: high-carb, high-fat, engineered to make you overeat. That's a food quality problem, much more so than a carb problem.

Cold plunges, red light panels, supplement stacks... none of it moves the needle if you're carrying 30 extra pounds of fat.

Now this stuff isn't useless. It's an amplifier, not a starter. Amplify zero and you get zero.

Get lean, fit and strong first. Then biohack all you want.

Everyone wants to live to 100. Almost nobody is doing the one thing that matters most: getting lean, fit, and strong.

No stack of protocols, peptides, or supplements outruns carrying extra fat and too little muscle. The foundation isn't glamorous.

You don't need four hours of Zone 2 cardio a week. Most people over 50 are chronically under-intense, not under-volumed. They walk on a treadmill for an hour and call it training.

The fix is short, hard resistance training sessions 1-3 times a week. Intensity beats volume.

Most people obsess over the wrong bloodwork.

They check cholesterol, CRP, inflammation markers... and miss the most important stuff, including ferritin.

High ferritin means iron overload, which quietly drives heart disease, cancer, and accelerated aging.

I wrote the book on this over 10 years ago. It's called Dumping Iron.

A decade later, most doctors still don't check ferritin.

If you've never had yours tested, it would be wise to do so.

For anyone over 60 wondering if it's too late: meet Tim. 63 years old.

Tim lost 27 pounds in 12 weeks. But the number that mattered most wasn't on the scale. It was in his bloodwork.
P.D. Mangan Health & Freedom Maximalist πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
@Mangan150
Tim's cardiologist was stunned. His inflammation markers didn't just improve to normal... they hit optimal.

This is what I mean when I say body comp drives metabolic health. Tim proved it on paper.

Does it work for women? Just as well. Meet my client Jolie.

She dropped 30 pounds in 4 months while training 50 minutes per week, eating food she called delicious, and using zero drugs, peptides, or PEDs.

That's the foundation at work.

Everything I wrote in this thread comes from what I've seen work in real bodies at 50, 60, and 70.

Real fat loss, real blood marker changes, real results on the scale and off it.

I don't have a tribe. I have a system, and I partner with people @ManganCoaching to implement it.
