## To get the most out of these prompts (and to avoid losing money on bad data), you must follow these two foundational rules:
1. The "One Chat" Rule (Context is King): Do not open a new chat window for every question. You need to build a "brain" for each specific stock.
• The Fix: Create a dedicated chat thread for each ticker (e.g., "$ZETA Research"). Keep all news, earnings, and analysis for that company in that single thread. This allows Gemini to "remember" your thesis and spot contradictions over time.
2. The "Source of Truth" Rule (Stop Hallucinations) Gemini is a prediction engine, not a database. If you ask it for a number without telling it where to look, it may guess.
• The Fix: You will notice every prompt below includes a command like "Search Yahoo Finance" or "Search SEC.gov". Never remove these instructions. They force the AI to browse the live web for real-time data rather than relying on its internal training memory.
This is the type of information covered in my Guide to Investing w/Gemini
## Section 1: The "Deep Dive" (using deep research mode)
1. "Generate a comprehensive Deep Research Report on [TICKER]. Explain the business model, the moat, and the top 3 competitors. Does [TICKER] have a unique technological advantage?"
1. "Search recent news for [TICKER]. Identify the top 3 upcoming catalysts (product launches, regulatory approvals, or partnerships) for the next 12 months."
1. "Analyze the 'Asymmetry' of [TICKER]. Does it have a low valuation floor (based on historical multiples) but a high growth ceiling? Why or why not?"
## Section 2: Valuation & Financials
1. "Search Yahoo Finance and Macrotrends. Create a relative valuation table for [TICKER] comparing it to [COMPETITOR 1] and [COMPETITOR 2]. Include columns for: P/S ratio, EV/EBITDA, gross margin, and YoY revenue growth."
1. "Search Seeking Alpha earnings transcripts or Yahoo Finance financials. Calculate the 'Rule of 40' (Revenue Growth % + Profit Margin %) for [TICKER] for the last 4 quarters."
1. "Using data from Macrotrends or YCharts, pull the historical Price-to-Sales ratio for [TICKER] over the last 3 years. What is the minimum, maximum, and average?"
1. "Search Nasdaq.com or OpenInsider. Compare the insider ownership percentage of [TICKER] vs the industry average. Is management significantly aligned?"
1. "Search the latest 10-K filing on SEC.gov. Extract the Stock-Based Compensation (SBC) as a percentage of revenue for [TICKER] for the last fiscal year."
1. "Search WhaleWisdom or HoldingsChannel. List the top 3 institutional holders of [TICKER]. Have they increased or decreased their position in the most recent 13F filing?"
