This finally happened. I spent a few hours talking to James Dyson yesterday. His first autobiography is still my favorite book and James was the person I most wanted to meet. He was witty, insightful, and kind. An absolute gem of a human being and an inspiration to me.

I read Dysonβs book for the first time in April 2018. Founders was 2 years old and going absolutely nowhere. His book is all about dogged determination. His story inspired me to keep going. It took 5 and 1/2 years for me to breakthrough. I donβt think that happens without him.

At the end of our time together, in private, I asked him for advice. He said I was already doing it. Just donβt stop. He said our conversation was a fascinating and emotional journey. It was an incredible day. Iβm framing that picture.
