In sports, there is more than one type of speed.
You must be able to accelerate. Move fast in small spaces.
You must also possess top speed ability to pull away from the pack.
If you do not train both, you are at a disadvantage.
You must train short sprints, resisted sprints and your first step.
You must also train top speed, longer sprints, flying sprints and your top end!
If you are lost on how to do this, your spree results will suffer!
My programming focuses on acceleration training days as well as top speed days.
Sometimes, we may do both in the same session.
It depends on your age, experience, time of year and more.
