March has always been a tricky month for Solana
But if you play this right, you can catch the next major moves early
Here's my strategy for trading SOL this month
Being Right VS Making Moneyπ§΅:

Step 1: Greedy VS Cautious Levels
-I'm greedy when conditions are in my favor. This is when I size up and bet with conviction.
-I'm cautious when conditions don't favor my system. This is where I risk less or stay in cash.
For example:

-I'm cautious when conditions don't favor my system. This is where I risk less or stay in cash.
For example:
I like to see "white space" above/ below an area where I want to be greedy.
This means fewer key levels can stop price from trending and this increases the probability of my trade continuing.
For SOL, these two levels are places I'd be greedy with taking trades.

A cautious level in this range was between $180 and $250
Because there were a lot of LTF levels that could have stopped the trend from continuing
Hence, being greedy here could have led to being stopped out.

Choppy price action is also where I like to be cautious
I set my levels near the most white space areas and wait to trade those breakouts/ breakdowns
This helps me avoid getting caught in boring sideways ranges.

Step 2: Risk analysis
Ask yourself: "Even if I am right, will I make money here?"
This helps you avoid taking trades with a lower Risk: Reward.

For example:
If you longed the $160 resistance on SOL, you would have made money
But you would have made more by longing the $180 level.
This is why you need a balance between being cautious and greedy.

Step 3: Patience and Discipline
This is the most important part of trading breakouts/ breakdowns
You have to set "no-trade zones" where you see a lower probability of making money.
Then be patient until price reaches where you want to be greedy again, then bet hard.

Remember, you don't need to be right 100% of the time to make money
You just need a system that tells you where to be greedy, and where to be cautious.
