♻️ Because governments everywhere ask us to separate all our plastic

I wanted to see if it would actually get recycled

So a few weeks ago, I taped an Airtag inside an empty plastic yogurt container

I then put it in the plastic recycling garbage container in my neighborhood

It stayed in the container for a few days, then was picked up and started its journey

It ended up at this garbage processing plant called Tratolixo

As you can see it's not a plastic specific plant at all, it's just garbage mixed with lots of other stuff like cardboard

And nothing is recycled here, it's all burnt to produce energy, which is fine but then why waste millions of hours of people's time by asking them to separate garbage?

The point being you can separate everything like a good citizen, it just ends up on the same pile anyway

And that pile gets burnt!
