I encourage everyone to watch this. Dawkins versus Peterson is truly a microcosm of the decline of the public intellectual.
Dawkins, whatever you think of him, defines his terms and argues in a logical straightforward matter. Peterson is just spouting mystical gibberish.
Here he argues about the biological reality of dragons, or maybe dragons as a metaphor, but maybe not. You can’t follow along because there’s nothing there. Poor Dawkins is sitting there trying to have a real conversation, where you actually communicate ideas instead of putting on a show for the rabble.
