One pattern I’ve noticed in all miserable people:

They’re trapped in their darkest thoughts.

The system I use to escape the cold, dark maze of looping thoughts:

1/ The Mind-Body Problem

If your body is out of balance, your thoughts will be too.

To clear your mind, start by moving your body.

Lift weights, go for a run, burn off the excess energy that fuels negative thinking.

Physical alignment = mental alignment

2/ ‘The Bright Side’ mental model

All things in life come with both good and bad.

X- This work is hard, I have to do it or I’ll get fired
✓ - This work is hard, I get to challenge myself to improve

Which you focus on is up to you.

3/ Wishes only work in fairy tales

Suffering = wishing the present was different.

Wishing you were somewhere else, with someone else, doing something else, leads to negative thoughts.

Accept the present as it is - even if it’s bad.

Your negative thoughts will lose their power.

You can only change your life when you accept the reality of where you are.

It's like a video game—wishing you were on level 10 won’t help if you haven’t beaten the first boss.

Face your current reality before leveling up.

4/ Comparison is a double-edged sword

Look up at people ahead of you? You’ll feel inadequate.
Look down at people behind you? You’ll feel superior.

But here’s a better way:

Comparison becomes a tool for growth when you compare your current self to your past self.

5/ Un-mask the monster

Our fears are our greatest enemies.

But most people don’t truly know what they’re afraid of. This makes the fear worse (fear of the unknown).

When fear is shrouded in mystery, our imaginations create catastrophe.

The solution?

Shine your mental flashlight directly on your fear.

Get curious about what exactly you’re afraid of.
Is it failure, judgment, uncertainty?

Mystery gives fear power.
Clarity gives you power.

6/ Bring order to the chaos

Overthinking keeps you trapped in your darkest thoughts.

But writing forces you to sort through the noise, shed the garbage, and find clarity.

If you’re in pain, talk to the paper.

7/ Transform pain into purpose

Writing has the power to do more than organize your thoughts.

It can convert negative energy into influence, wealth, and lasting purpose.

“Worry is a misuse of imagination”—redirect yours toward creating instead.

I spent my 20s over-thinking, under-acting, and wallowing in negative thoughts.

But in the last 3 years I’ve attracted over 120,000 followers and built a multi-6 figure online business.

What changed?

I started channeling those thoughts into writing. But not just any writing…
