LA has a ton of hot girls who you have no idea what they do for work but also you know exactly what they do for work. a rapper, athlete, or scammer is funding their lifestyle

NYC also has a ton of hot girls who you have no idea what they do for work, but for the most part, no one is really funding their lifestyle like w the hot girls in LA

first, hotness in NYC isn’t instagram filter / Kardashian-face / BBL hotness (it’s more waifish / heroin chic / offbeat), so it’s less appealing to rappers / athletes / scammers

also, rappers and athletes prefer Miami & LA to NYC, so there’s also a supply problem. these women could date finance bros but a lot of them hate finance bros. they also could get sugar daddies but a lot of them don’t want to do that either

so they afford NYC by living in Bushwick or Greenpoint

I got so used to LA I am still shocked when a hot woman has a job. one that isn’t actor / model / influencer

a job where u have a company email or even retail / fast food

like what are you doing here? do you know how quickly the 6th man on the Knicks will buy you Chanel?

also people in NYC who have money tend not to have time since many work in finance

people in LA who have money tend to ALSO have time. rappers, athletes, actors, etc.

also they tend to have made their money in a sudden, almost overnight way (like the NBA Draft) which makes them more prone to “tricking” aka lavishing that money on beautiful women they just met

if you think I’m exaggerating (ok I am maybe a little bit but still)

recently a friend who dates athletes & has them buy her Chanel bags & a car & pay her rent showed me a secret, invite-only, woman-only telegram chat for LA / Vegas women in that lifestyle

80% of the posts are like “need two girls to work a poker game in the valley. $100 / hour, keep all tips if you stay past 4am”

the other 20% are like “need a girl for a 3some tonight with a couple. they’re my regulars & they booked me but I can’t make it. the woman will need more attention than the man”

I guess what I’m saying is if you’re hot in LA (or Miami or even Atlanta kinda), someone will quickly try to buy you

not in a human trafficking way, but by overwhelming you with money until you belong to them (date them, are their side piece)

either by some direct payment arrangement or by taking you to Nobu Malibu on a first date & suggesting Cabo or Tulum as the second date

this feels less common in NYC even though NYC has more $. people who get $ fast tend to spend it fast. and NYC money tends to be older and slower (finance as opposed to signing a record deal or NBA contract)
