King Ahab & Jezebel. meta.

Ahab was one of the wickedest Kings of Israel. His codependent relationship with Jezebel allowed evil to run rampant. The meta of Ahab abdicates authority for the approval and acceptance of a Jezebel (unbridled sense consciousness). The man ruled by the mind of Ahab tolerates evil, shirks responsibility, enjoys childish things, is effeminate, materialistic, and promiscuous.

Ahab represents error states of consciousness based on false intellectual reasoning, or the intellect that has dropped to the level of sense worship.

Ahab married Jezebel who represents the counterpart of the false intellectual concept in bodily sensations and desires; she is the animal soul of unbridled passions and desires. When this union of forces takes place the whole man involved is in error.

Jezebel represents the animal soul, unbridled passions of the sense consciousness. Additionally, the ruling emotions on the physical plane of consciousness. When the union of the ruling identity in the intellect (King Ahab) and the licentious desires of the body is complete this is a rearing of an altar for Ball in the house of Baal (1 Kings 16:32)

Covetousness has no wisdom. In 1 Kings 21:-20 Ahab is dominated by it. Inordinate acquisitiveness ruled his mind and took possession of the man. When this entity has control over the carnal mind man develops an insatiable desire to possess things.

Ahab built himself a splendid summer palace and inlaid it with ivory. Extravagance grows: Ahab's palaces needed additional gardens. The vineyard of Naboth best suited him, and it was acquired by foul means.

There is no escape from justice.

Seemingly subtle plans, like Jezebel's plan to have the innocent Naboth stoned to death, are always exposed eventually. Acquisitiveness is a legitimate faculty of the mind, but covetousness is a Judas.

The intellectual man cannot bear the coarser expressions of the senses. Jezebel met with a violent death, passion and appetite burn themselves out. Elijah quickly destroys the prophets of Baal; the quickening. fiery word of Truth sets up its activity, revealing the higher principle of man's being and erasing the thoughts of error. Harmony in mind and body results.
