from everything im seeing i think ru is trying to build about 3 divisions of troops to try for something, anti breakthrough troops, offensive troops, or the core for a new army... all the new gear is going someplace.

i think the units are in russia and are being built at the expense of other units being left at the front to get killed. they are in effect doing the same thing that ukr has been doing building up the 3 corps that they have now.

but i cant see them being deployed the right way and may end up being something to try and block the ukr army in the future.

with limited new items they will be more of a show unit at the border than a real combat force for now.
