When I was on my U12 club team in Southern California, we played a U12 Barcelona academy team. An actual one like this. Not one of those teams that just calls themselves a club team name as a LARP. We were a pretty good club. Won far more than we lost.

You may have played A Barcelona U12 academy team, but you didn’t play THE Barcelona U12 academy team. They have several U12 teams, and if a US academy side faced their elite U12 team (like the one in this clip), you wouldn’t get off so lightly as losing 12-1.

You mean in a tournament where they played 3 grp games in 1 day, played Hoboken last, and were most likely conserving energy for the finals the following day, against teams such as Villarreal, Atl. Madrid and R. Madrid? Sure, could've been such a scenario.
