If you want to become a YouTuber, here are some numbers from my experience
You get paid for every 1,000 views
YT usually pays $2 to $10 depending on your audience
Sponsors pay $5 to $30
You can sell your own digital products and make $3 to $10 per 1,000 views
That makes $10 to $50 per 1,000 views for most channels
There are outliers, but most are in this range
So you need 60k to 300k views per month to make $3,000
Most likely more in the 250k range
So if you upload weekly, that's about 65k views per video
Kinda achievable, isn't it?
The $ depends on your audience
The more your audience is spending, the more you get paid, because advertisers are paying more
50 year old women from the US spend more than 7 year olds from Bangladesh
So if you're making fortnite lets plays, you might need 1M views per month
If you're making vegan cooking tutorials, you might only need 100k views
