Meeting Alt Minutes 5/28/26: AGAIN told Minutes from April meeting "not ready." (recording secretary appears to be typing them in real time during meeting). Provided w/ undated one page Agenda item 3 "Approval of Minutes" but there are no minutes to approve.

7:12pm Attendee: "WHAT TIME DOES THIS MEETING START?"
President: "In a few minutes. We are trying to get set up."
Attendee: "I came on time. I have things to do."

President and CO: nasty glances not apology. "We can't start until Zoom is connected." "We respect you time." (facial expression disconnect)
Attendee: "You don't respect my time if you don't start on time. I'm going home to watch on Zoom."
CO: "You do that"
Attendee walked out

May meeting of 30th Precinct Community Council (AKA the shit show) commenced at 7:16pm

Financial Report: none. The treasurer of the 30 Precinct Community Council was absent. The concept excused absence is not operational in this organization. Even if it was the treasurer has been present for 1 meeting of the last 6!

There is a reason why financial reports are not given. The assumptions are colorful. TBD

CO Area Report: carbon copy same as Jan, Feb, March, April. "Don't put your rent check in the street mail box. Don't give your watch to people on the street. Don't talk to strangers claiming to be from your bank" No data on crime or crimefighting in the hood.

(Please CO give us some report on what the 30th officers are doing). Responding to murders. Responding to burglary. Confiscating guns. Confiscating dirt bikes)

"Pubic Session 3 min" No attendees arent in orderly manner given 3 min to state concern w/raised hands from others who want to add. A pile on discussion more like brain storming ensues. Not only people talking without being recognized but veering the subject.

"Public Session 3 min" It like brainstorming in a working group except this organization is not a working group. It is neighbors with high anxiety coming to report they want police action. (Please can someone run the meeting?)

"Oh we are supposed to fill out a form about our issue in order to speak?" Those of us present for the roll out of the "Pubic Session Sheet" knew that but this new rule was not stated at call to order. Rush of crowd to get the sheet to fill out.

President: "We don't want people talking about things that are detrimental." Puzzling statement

Detrimental is an adjective that describes something causing harm, damage, or a negative effect. It is a formal word frequently used in academic, medical, and professional contexts to highlight actions or behaviors that hinder progress or well-being

Puzzling President doesn't want harm to come to attendees of the meeting because of something they say in a police precinct. Can't make this shit up. (Stay tuned for detailed analysis)

Emphatic well spoken pleasant toned attendee reported drug using unhomed people living urinating and lowering QOL in exact location.

During 10 wasted min playing a FUNDRAISING game of chance President explains why the FUNDRAISING is done.

The $ solicited is used to pay for food at the meeting. Delusional food. Home cooked by a senior citizen with a soup kitchen size pot. She makes such good chili and fried chicken. Its delusional food because there is no food at the meetings.

Clarification. No woman in her mid 70s is making chili to eat from a bowl with a spoon at a business meeting maybe because its not a pic nic potluck. Maybe because people don't eat chili from a bowl in their lap while discussing crime in a police precinct.

There is no home cooked food paid for by FUNDRAISING from attendees that we are eating with a spoon. To state that cash only is being collected to pay for "refreshments" is delusional.

Old Business: We had a party for the new Capitan last month.
