When I was 12, I tried out for a baseball all-star team...

I didn't make it...

My Dad came into my room and sat down next to me...

Then he showed up every single day to make good on his commitment...

He had two options when he walked into my room...

This experience formed the basis of what I think of as the High Shoulders Theory...

The strongest relationships have a combination of high expectations and high support...

Most relationships will fall short...

That combination is extraordinary...

We all want to stand on the shoulders of the giants in our lives...

But sometimes they have to bend down and lift us up...

Find them. Cherish them. Be one to someone else.
