You can request plastic if your gyno isn’t already using that already. Communicate with them. They can also add more lubricant! I’m so sick of seeing people act like that’s not an option or that every Pap smear is torture. Just scaring women away from vital medical procedures.

You guys need to be stronger than this. It’s a fucking Pap smear. I say this as someone who is very sensitive wrt routine medical procedures down there!
