What is Pilao? (The Story)

In Chinese, Pilao (疲劳) means "tired," and Mao (猫) means "Cat."

Growing up, I was the kid who always had a crayon in hand. My favorite subject was always the cat sketch because cats were the companions I grew up with. Pilao represents that relatable "tired but pushing forward" energy we all feel in the crypto space.

Inspiration for pilao collection

My vision is simple: "Bring memes to the Tao blockchain." I was deeply inspired by two amazing collections that set the standard for crayon memes art: Silly Nub Cat and Napo Koala (@napokoala). As an artist, these were my "POC" (Proof of Concept) for style and vibes.

I also integrated influences from top Chinese meme artists, allowing me to create a versatile collection with over 200 traits across 7 attributes.

The Pilao plan and strategy

We know the Tao chain has faced challenges recently. After the Punk team rugged, many lost faith in Tao NFTs. This was expected, as the ecosystem lacks the core infrastructure, specifically a Marketplace and Launchpad.

Pilao is here to fill that gap.We aren't just a meme; we are building the go-to infrastructure for everything NFT on Tao. Our team is currently finalizing the security and UX for our own platform.
