THREAD: Debunking Uthman Farooq's Wahhabi Argumenmts.

Uthman bin Farooq made a lot of bad arguments during the highly sectarian video he published recently. Most of them were overused Wahhabi arguments. Here are the ones I caught. 1/

1. (3:50) He plays a clip of Hasan al-Qadri talking about Khamenei and Sistani issuing Fatwas discouraging Shias from cursing the Sahaba, however, he conveniently cuts the clip just before Hasan clarifies that they were not promoting taqiyya, i.e., they were not telling Shia.. 2/

..Muslims that it’s ok to curse them in private, just don’t do it in public. He cuts this part out and then goes on to assert that this is in fact what he meant to say.
2. (5:10) He accuses Hasan al-Qadri of nifaaq on the basis that he gives an analogy that implies that Shias..3/

should only talk about the Sahaba disrespectfully in private settings and not in public so as to show respect to Sunnis and for the sake of unity. The reason this isn’t nifaaq is because Hasan is clearly stating this on camera, he’s not hiding the fact that this can be a way..4/

prevent disunity. It would’ve been nifaaq, i.e., two-faced, if he had hid this fact from the audience and said “oh yeah we just don’t disrespect the Sahaba, period.” His clarification is the exact opposite of nifaaq. 5/

3. If anyone is thinking that the first two points contradict each other, bear in mind that the first point was about the clip regarding Khamenei and Sistani’s views, and the second point was about the clip where Hasan al-Qadri himself presents an analogy. 6/

4. 1. (5:55) Again, Uthman conflates the first out-of-context clip with the second clip where Hasan al-Qadri makes the analogy to make it appear as if Khamenei and Sistani are encouraging taqiyya and telling Shias to curse the Sahaba in private. 7/

1. (Around 7:30) He says how can we unite with someone who curses the Sahaba, those who were beloved to the Prophet ﷺ, yet his sectarianism is exactly what the Zionist US-Israel regime wants, and they are the ones who openly mock Islam and curse Allah and His Messenger ﷺ

and want to see Islam wiped from the face of the Earth. So, who is the obvious greater threat here? 9/

6. (10:00) He calls out Iran for helping the US in the past, yet he has never condemned the Gulf rulers for doing the same. Not even once. In fact, he has parroted a lot of Madkhali arguments of obeying the ruler and never criticising him publicly. Who is the hypocrite again? 10/

7. 1. (11:40) He makes a vague statement that ‘Arab countries didn’t do a great job,’ but that is the extent of his criticism. He doesn’t condemn the Gulf rulers for normalizing relations with Israel, for signing on the Abraham Accords, or for allowing US to build bases that..11/

..led to the slaughter of many Muslims. He goes hard against Iran but not one word for the Gulf rulers who betrayed the Ummah and shamelessly sold out Palestine. 12/

8. (12:15) He says he won’t compromise his aqida. This is a strawman argument, because no one asked anyone to give up their aqida for the sake of Pan-Islamic unity. 13/

9. (12:25) He calls out Iran for supporting US against Iraq but doesn’t condemn Saudi for allowing the US to build bases, ALSO against Iraq in the 2003 invasion. 14/

10. (13:55) He accuses Shias of historically backstabbing the Ummah yet doesn’t condemn historical Wahhabis for backstabbing the Ottoman Muslims by siding with the British (Treaty of Darin) and modern Wahhabis for backstabbing the Ummah as well (Abraham Accords). 15/

11. (14:00) He calls out Iran for killing Muslims in Syria yet no condemnation of Sunni Muslim countries for similar crimes, e.g., Saudi against Yemen, UAE against Sudan, and Pakistan against Bangladesh. 16/

12. (14:16) Accusing Iran of killing more Muslims in Syria than Israel did in Palestine, completely false. Israel has been genociding Palestinians for more than 75 years, and in the war on Gaza alone the death toll may be up to 400,000. Another issue here is that he...17/

..frames it as Israel vs Iran instead of the US-Israel regime vs Iran, because then the argument collapses entirely as there is no comparison between the two, with the US-Israel regime having killed over 4.5-4.7 million Muslims in the post-911 War on Terror (Brown University).18/

13. (14:30) Again calls out Iran for helping the US during invasion of Iraq, but no condemnation of Saudi. 19/

14. (14:45) He asserts that it’s possible to remain neutral, neither siding with Iran nor Israel. However, this is exactly what Israel wants, and so in doing so one ends up supporting Israel’s project against the entire Ummah. 20/

15. (15:15) He has an issue with Iran defending itself against Israel and retaliating. Idk what even this argument is. 21/

1. (16:00) He denies that Iran was targeting US bases in Gulf countries, which is a complete lie. The US suffered extreme damage at the hands of Iran as a result of this war. Also, the idea that Iran didn’t attack Israel is also a lie, because there are clear videos..22/

..showing the extensive damage that Iran did to Tel Aviv. Also, the type of decimation seen in Tel Aviv was not carried out in the Gulf countries, so there was a clearly different approach between the Jewish Israelis and Muslims in the Gulf that Iran adopted. 23/

17. (17:44) He shows how Qatar gave a peaceful response to the Iranian attacks. Ok, so, is Uthman now advocating for peace and co-existence with Iran?? It doesn’t even seem like he knows what arguments he’s making. 24/

18. (19:30) He praises the Gulf countries for the billions in aid they sent to Gaza yet doesn’t condemn them for the trillion dollar deals they made with Trump (yes, a $1.4 trillion deal) and once again, building financially lucrative relations with Israel and the US. 25/

19. (20:30) He plays a clip where the claim is made that Iran didn’t offer the Palestinians any substantial support, yet doesn’t play the clip of Yahya Sinwar and Abu Obeidah greatly praising Iran for the support. Also, the clip he played is from Xumas, a retarded sectarian..26/

..found online, so we know what sectarian network is feeding Uthman all this nonsense. 27/

20. (20:55) Peddling the same argument as Adnan Rashid, that Ismail Haniyeh was killed inside of Iran. I guess he also considers the Palestinians as fools. I don’t think he knows that this argument is made to imply that Iran is secretly working with the US-Israel regime,..28/

..which pretty much everyone have moved on from. Furthermore, the US was able to assassinate Khamenei just fine, did Iran also ‘secretly’ pass along this info to the US? What makes more sense is the truth, that the Iranian government was infiltrated by Mossad. 29/

21. (22:30) He says we have to unite upon the Qur’an, Sunnah, and Tawheed, yet doesn’t want to unite with the only Muslim country currently fighting those who want to wipe out Tawheed from the world. He says we can’t unite upon Shirk, yet has no condemnation for the..30/

..UAE building Hindu temples and buddying with the Hindutva Indian government and Saudi allowing literal idols to be set up, or the Egyptian rulers for building museums filled with Shirk idols, nor does he condemn Gulf countries for allying with Jewish and Christian enemies. 31/

22. (23:40) Plays a clip of Hasan al-Qadri saying that he curses Hadhrat Ayesha (May Allah be pleased with her) behind closed doors. Again, this isn’t the position of the official Iranian government, who discourage it even behind closed doors (Examples of Khamanei and Sistani)32/

However, for the sake of argument, they are still Muslims and the enemy curse, not just the Sahaba, but our beloved Prophet ﷺ as well and want to see Islam dead. They call for every child in Gaza to be killed, for Gaza to be flattened, for Muslims to be destroyed. 33/

23. Here he again calls out Iran for killing Muslims but not a single word against other Sunni countries that have done the same. 34/

24. (24:45) More vague statements about not supporting Israel, yet no outright condemnation of Gulf regimes for allying with the US-Israel regime. 35/

25. 1. (25:14) Blaming Iran for the deaths of Muslims in Gulf countries, not realizing that the many of these deaths happened due to missile debris, which were intercepted because these Gulf regimes stopped them from hitting US bases. That’s what led to several of these deaths36/

26. (25:20) Talks about Iranian terrorist cells but no mention of Israel aligned Wahhabi ISIS. 37/

27. (25:46) Someone in the background plays some Islamic nasheed trying to make this a based moment. Comes off as super cringe instead. 38/

28. (25:50) Makes Du’a for Gaza to be freed yet offers no practical solutions. 39/

29. 1. (27:40) Plays a video of Yasser Habib, but doesn’t mention that Khamenei condemned him and issued a Fatwa against cursing the Sahaba in light of his statements. Also doesn’t play the clip of Hasan al-Qadri strongly criticizing Yasser Habib. 40/
