On April 13, Kejriwal had appeared before Justice Sharma in person and made arguments on his recusal application. After hearing other applicants as well as CBI, Court had reserved the orders.

Kejriwal thereafter filed an additional affidavit saying that Justice Sharma’s children are empanelled Central Govt lawyers who receive “substantial work” through SGI Tushar Mehta, who has appeared for CBI.

Kejriwal has also claimed that he was not given a fair and reasonable opportunity to make rejoinder submissions.
