@BoxTraderVK: # MASTER INTRADAY TRADING RULE...
MASTER INTRADAY TRADING RULES & CHECKLIST
Non-Negotiable Trading Rules BEFORE ENTRY
(Pre-session prep + in-session execution. Print this. Read it every morning.)
1/15
Most traders don't lose because of bad stocks.
They lose because they have no rules. They wing it. They improvise. They react.
Here are mine. 13 rules. Zero exceptions. π§΅π
2/15
ποΈ Rule 1 β Max 3β5 Stocks on Your Watchlist
More stocks = more confusion = more bad trades.
You don't need 20 ideas. You need 3 great ones.
Narrow the list. Sharpen the focus. Quality over quantity. Every. Single. Day.
3/15
π Rule 2 β Check Weekly, Daily & 65-Min BEFORE the Session
The trade is won or lost before the market opens.
Check the weekly for the trend. Check the daily for the setup. Check the 65-min for the entry zone.
No chart prep = no trade. You're just guessing.
4/15
πΊοΈ Rule 3 β All Key Levels Must Be Marked CLEARLY on Your Chart
Before the open, every chart must show:
β Key support and resistance levels β VWAP, pivot levels β SMA 10, 21, 50, 200 β Prior day high/low β Your stop level
If your chart looks clean and empty β you are not ready.
5/15
π Rule 4 β SMA Must Be Close & Below Price at Entry
At entry, at least ONE must be right below price: SMA 10 / SMA 21 / SMA 50 / SMA 200
The closer the MA = the tighter the risk. No MA support nearby = no trade.
6/15
π Rule 5 β Trust the Moving Averages. Let the Stock Pull Back.
The MAs don't lie. You do.
A pullback to the 10 or 21 is the gift β not a warning. Don't panic. Don't exit early. Let it breathe.
If it never pulls back and runs without you? That was never your trade. Let it go.
7/15
β° Rule 6 β No Trade First 30 Minutes
9:30β10:00 AM is noise. Shakeouts. Stop hunts. Fake breakouts.
Your job in the first 30 min: ποΈ Watch. Mark the opening range high/low. Do nothing else.
The best trades happen AFTER 10 AM.
8/15
π―οΈ Rule 7 β Candle Confirmation Before Sizing
Big green 30-min candle = base entry. Big green 65-min candle = add size.
One confirms the move. The other confirms the continuation.
Don't size up on hope. Size up on confirmation only.
9/15
π Rule 8 β Sector Strength + Market Must Hold
Your stock can be a perfect setup. If the sector is weak and the market is in freefall β it doesn't matter.
Before every entry check: β Sector is green and leading β SPY/QQQ is NOT falling apart
Context beats conviction every time.
10/15
π Rule 9 β Price Must Be Above VWAP
VWAP is the battlefield line.
Above VWAP = buyers in control β Below VWAP = sellers in control π«
Not close to VWAP. Not "basically above it." ABOVE it. Full stop.
11/15
π― Rule 10 β Don't Chase Extended Moves
If price is already stretched well past key pivot levels β you are late.
The only exception? A massive, undeniable, world-stopping catalyst.
Otherwise: let someone else buy the very top. Your edge is the next clean entry β not this one.
12/15
π Rule 11 β Defined Setup + Written Trade Plan
If you cannot NAME the setup β you don't have one.
Name the pattern before you enter. Every time.
Write BEFORE entry: β Setup name β Entry price β Stop level β Target
No written plan = gambling. Not trading.
13/15
π Rule 12 β Stop Loss Entered AT THE SAME TIME As Entry
Not after. Not "in a minute." THE. SAME. TIME.
Your stop is your seatbelt. You don't put it on after the crash.
Stop in = trade on. No stop = no trade.
14/15
π Rule 13 β The Heartbeat Rule + No Chasing
Heart pounding? π Size is too big. Cut it in half. Right now.
Stock already ran 3%+? π You're late. Let it go.
Calm = right size. Patience = right entry.
There will ALWAYS be another trade. Protect the account first. Always.
15/15
π Save this thread. Read it before every session. Not when you're already in a trade. BEFORE.
The prep is the edge. The setup is the edge. The discipline is the edge.
You are the only variable that breaks it.
