1/ Meet Kabir Singh, an Indian scammer who impersonates Apple support and then rips off innocent vulnerable people.

He tried to scam me......but instead of paying him money, I hacked into his laptop and redeemed $10,000 worth of giftcards live on webcam!

2/ Kabir runs a classic refund tech support scam out of his apartment complex in New delhi, India.

It starts with a fake invoice (Amazon, PayPal etc) saying you were charged and need to call for a refund. That number goes to scammers who take over your computer and walk you through a fake “refund” to drain your bank account.

3/ The scammer’s main goal? Convince the victim to buy Google play or Apple giftcards.

But when Kabir tried it on me… I gave him access to my virtual machine and used it to hack into his system instead.

4/ Here’s how I identified him:

1. I accessed his webcam and snapped a clear shot of his face.

2. He was dumb enough to name his computer after his real name: Kabir Singh

3. The wifi card on his laptop was active, letting me trace his exact location

5/ These are the exact coordinates I traced from the scammer’s device: 28.6699358,77.0671473

6/ So we wanted to ragebait Kabir, and we built a fake site to trick him into thinking we were redeeming/stealing the gift cards.

We tested the site on the same group of scammers he works with.

7/ Finally we redeemed the giftcards in front of Kabir Singh while watching him live through his own webcam!

8/ @DelhiPolice people like Kabir are ruining lives!
