this DLMM strategy is my everyday strategy and probably the best flip bid-ask strategy so far.
in this thread i will share you how’s the strategy works, what condition you need to apply, exit strategy, and study case

how’s this strat works?

basically this strategy is taking an advantage of the runner token that back to ath with volume after dipping.
recently there’s some tokens that have this, spsn, mec, and 1coin
when see you a tokens surging after a nice dip, probs there’s a good news about that token.
this kind of token have same pattern, hit ath, dipping a bit and back to ath or forming lower high.
this is the condition when you deploy this strategy with single side sol only, the detailed criteria are:
- a runner that back to ath after a nice dip
- volume 200-500k or more in gmgn 5mins tf
- dynamic fee > base fee, see table below, this dynamic fee is probs around that when volume spiking.
- tvl around 100-150k

when to deploy the strategy?
you need to watching the charts all the time or you have volume bot alert. you will deploy this strategy on the new ath candle. (see picture below)
you open a tight range bid-ask single side sol only around -20% or -25% on the ath, depends on the volume, more volume = less retrace.
after a bit correction, usually around 20-25% and your sol swapped to token all or probs there some bins that still in sol.
withdraw your liquidity and deploy a single side token ba.
in short :
- open single side sol tight range bid-ask
- wait until your sol swapped to token
- withdraw your liq (don’t close your position)
- open single side token only ba

why this strat is better than heart attack or tight range spot?
- first you get fees
- you get profit from flipping your ba (IL+)
illustration below. (80 bin step, 1% base fee)
when your position going oor in ba with -20% range, your IL will be around -7.53%, but the fees help you outperform this.
with dynamic fee 2% (max dynamic fee from 80/1 pool) you will get around 4% fees from your tvl with 200-500k volume. so your IL is around -3.53%

and let’s assume your position is out of range, all your token swapped to sol.
you will get nice 17% profit from IL+ and you get fees around 3-5% with max dynamic fees.
so your profit will be around 20% minus -3.5% IL. it’s around 17%.

let’s compare with single side sol spot with same range.
- you will get fees around 7-10% if your position went oor and comeback to your entry so the IL is 0
- so your net profit is 7-10%
- with retrace bid-ask flip you will get approx 17.5% with same condition.

tips :
- volume and dynamic fees is the keypoint of this strategy
- if you see volume >200k don’t use this
- volume will drive the the price if this token had a chance to go back to ath or not
- dynamic fees will prevent you from IL, more dynamic fees = more chance you beat the IL even you close not in your entry point
- in some case i exit when the dynamic fees drop.
