After this, the next few days are packed too.

He's got a movie he's working on, a few brand campaigns, and then he has Hoseok's birthday party to plan with his friends and then attend as well as host. But he's glad everything will be over before their trip.

He's sitting in his vanity, just eating some snacks because he's feeling a little tired, when his phone rings.

A huge smile spreads across his face when he sees Jungkook's name flash across the screen before he answers. "Hey, baby."

"Hi, hyung!" Jungkook greets from the other end. "Are you busy now?"

"No, we can talk! What's up?" Taehyung says, checking his watch. "I've got a couple of minutes."

"Hyung... I have a match. A really important match, and I want you to be there." Jungkook says.

"Aw, tell me when. I'll make time." Taehyung says.

"It's on Friday." Jungkook says. "8pm. I'll text you the address of the stadium. And um, it's not a practice match. It's a real one."

"Oh, sure..." Taehyung says. "I'll be there. Don't worry!"

It's like he can hear Jungkook's smile through the phone. "Thanks, hyung. Love you. I miss you already."

"You literally saw me this morning." Taehyung says. "When I drove you. To where you are right now."

Jungkook chuckles. "So what?"

Taehyung fondly rolls his eyes and bites back a smile. "Anyway, I got to go. Hyung is working extra hard so that nothing can interrupt our trip. Don't I deserve a pat on the back?"

"Yes you do." Jungkook instantly says. "You also deserve kisses. Which I will be happy to provide."

Taehyung laughs. "Don't you have football practice to focus on right now?" He teases. "Go on, go!"

"Fine!" Jungkook says, and kisses him through the phone. "Okay, I'll see you soon. Let me plan another date."

"Okay, as you say." Taehyung agrees, smiling giddily as he traces shapes on the table. "Bye. See you soon."

Taehyung ends the phone call, and smiles to himself. He gets giddy and all warm and fuzzy just thinking about Jungkook, and he can't help but already imagine and wonder how their trip is going to be.

His cheeks turn red when he thinks about them sharing a room.

Taehyung shakes the thoughts off, and thinks about this upcoming match Jungkook just invited him to. It's on Friday, he said, and Taehyung wants to make sure he's got nothing else planned that day.

He opens his calendar, confident that even if something comes up, he'll adjust.

And as he looks at that specific date, the smile is wiped off his face.

"Shit." Taehyung whispers to himself.

It's Hoseok's birthday on Friday — the same birthday he's organising and hosting a party for.

He can't ditch his friend.

But he also can't go back on his word when he promised Jungkook he'd be there.

Hoseok's party starts at 6, which is quite early since Hoseok sleeps early — but that works in Taehyung's favor here.

"If I make sure everyone is on time... Two hours should be enough." Taehyung plans. "And then I can rush to Jungkookie's match. Maybe I'll miss a bit of it but I'll still be there."

But somehow, it doesn't sound good enough. Immediately, he starts stressing out.

He leans back in his chair, just hoping that somehow it all works out — because he doesn't want to disappoint either of them.

He's called then for his next shot, and with a slightly restless mind, gets up and goes back to work.

It's almost 7.45 pm. The party has been going on for over an hour and a half now, and everyone's happy, drinking, dancing or eating.

Except Taehyung. He's stressed, in a corner, thinking about how to tell Hoseok that he has to leave.

He thought of telling him the previous day but just couldn't bring himself too, seeing as Hoseok has been excited about this party for weeks.

But now that the party is already in full flow and Taehyung's done his part, he thinks now might be a good window to say it.

And if he's completely being honest, Taehyung is tired. He's absolutely exhausted. He had work, then prepared for the party, and then partied with Hoseok.

He has no energy left. But he still wants to go to Jungkook's game.

He told Jungkook he'd be there, and his heart has been pounding just thinking about his giant disappointed eyes when he doesn't see him in the audience on time. He has to go.

Taehyung sighs, licks his lips, and approaches Hoseok.

"Hyung!" He throws his arm around Hoseok, who's a little tipsy but somehow still pulling off the best dance moves.

"Taehyung-ah!" He cheers at the top of his voice. "Oh Taetae, thank you for this party. I'm so happy! Best birthday ever."

"Yeah? You're happy?" Taehyung smiles.

"Of course!" Hoseok says. "What do you mean?"

"Hyung... You know. Jungkook has a match tonight, and—"

"What?" Hoseok's eyes go wide. "Did he invite you?"

Taehyung nods.

"That's why he didn't come. I was wondering why..." Hoseok says. "And you? You didn't go? Won't he feel bad?"

"Hyung, it's your birthday." Taehyung smiles. "And the match... It starts at eight."

Hoseok checks his watch, and then looks at Taehyung before patting his back.

"Then Kim Taehyung. You better get your ass out of here right now." Hoseok tells him. "Because this is the happiest I've seen you in years, and you'll do everything you can to keep it that way. Okay?"

Well, that was surprisingly easy, Taehyung thinks. But then again, Hoseok has always been kind and had the biggest heart.

He smiles, gives Hoseok a hug, and then waves as he gets on his way.

"I promise, hyung. I won't fuck it up."

Jungkook checks the giant digital clock towering over the field. The match is about to start, and there's still no sign of Taehyung.

It takes him back to that first time he invited him, and was upset when Taehyung hadn't showed up yet.

Except, Taehyung eventually did. And today, he hopes that is the case as well. He promised he'd be here.

Jungkook can't even text him, because he's already preparing to get on the field along with his team, and his phone is in his bag.

"Okay, stop sulking, maybe he's stuck in traffic." Yoongi pats him on the back. "Focus on the game."

"I just wanted to see if he was my lucky charm." Jungkook says. "I really think he is."

"You're going to do well regardless." Namjoon smiles.

Jungkook sighs. "I'm nervous."

Yoongi and Namjoon both look at him. Jungkook doesn't usually say that before a match.

"I don't know. I've been a little nervous about this match all week." Jungkook sighs. "I just... I thought I'd feel better with him here. I'm sure he'll come, because he said he would."

"Then he'll come." Yoongi says. "He keeps his word, right?"

Jungkook nods. "Always."

"Then don't worry, and let's kick the opponent team's ass." Namjoon says.

Jungkook snorts. "We will. I just need my dopamine boost. Just want to see his face once."

The game begins. For the first ten minutes or so, no team scores a goal.

Jungkook's focus is razor sharp, but every once in a while his mind goes back to Taehyung, and when he isn't near the ball, he looks at the audience to see if he's here yet.

8.12pm, and there's still no sign of Taehyung. Jungkook starts worrying a little, wondering if Taehyung is okay.

The game continues.

A few more minutes later, Jungkook has the chance to score. He kicks the ball right towards the goal post too.

But it hits the metal upright.

And Jungkook sighs, losing a little bit of his confidence. The opponents are strong players too.

He looks at the audience again, and then focuses back on the game.

"It's okay, we all miss goals sometimes." Namjoon pats him as he passes him by.

Jungkook nods, sniffs and puts his hands on his hips, chest heaving up and down as he fixes his eyes on the goal.

[ Tw// injury, blood. ]

The ball starts being passed across the field again. Jungkook is quick and agile to snatch it from his opponents and move it across to the other side where he's supposed to goal.

But right before he's about to, a player from the other team crashes right into him, his shoulder getting twisted backwards from the impact.

Jungkook loses his balance, and falls down, twisting his ankle a little as well.

The fall makes a very audible sound. Namjoon and Yoongi run over to him, and Yoongi starts cursing out the other player, convinced that he did it on purpose.

Jungkook lies on the ground, breathing and looking at the sky. Maybe it's just not his day.

A team of medical experts rushes to the field as well, and Namjoon helps Jungkook sit up. He's scraped his knee a little from the fall as well, small amounts of blood oozing out.

Jungkook sighs, and runs his hand over the wound. "What am I doing?"

"What? We all fall down." Namjoon pats his back as the medical team tends to his wounds.

Yoongi has to be physically separated from the guy who collided into Jungkook, seconds away from punching him in the face.

"You've got this, champ." Yoongi crouches down and tells him. "It's just a momentary lapse. You can do this."

Jungkook nods. "I can do this. Maybe hyung really is stuck in traffic. I'll just... Ow." He winces. "I'll do my best anyway."

Just as he's about to get up, Jungkook hears a familiar voice yelling his name. It's so loud, and such a deep voice, that everyone around him hears it too.

Jungkook leans forward for a better view, and his heart finally relaxes.

Running towards him is Taehyung, all dressed up and with some kind of a cheering banner in hand, face scrunched up with worry.

There's people trying to follow him to request him to get him off the field, but he's faster.

"Did you hurt yourself?" Taehyung asks as he approaches him, before he crouches down in front of Jungkook, lets go of the banner and pulls him into a hug. "I'm so sorry I'm late, baby."

Jungkook finally breathes easy, closing his eyes as he hugs Taehyung.

Everyone steps back to make space for them. Media outlets click picture after picture, and everyone is talking about just one thing now.

Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook seem to really be dating. There's no question about it anymore.

Some guards come and stand there, unsure what to do or if they should let Taehyung stay on the field.

Jungkook just nods, and politely tells them it's okay. "He's with me, don't worry."

Taehyung pulls back and looks at Jungkook's legs, gasping. "Gosh, that must sting a lot. Jungkook-ah, if you don't feel well, sit this one out."

"No, no." Jungkook chuckles, looking into his eyes. "I feel fine now. In fact, I'm going to win this match for my team."

"Yeah?" Taehyung smiles. "I mean, I have no doubt you will. Just don't stress yourself out okay?"

"Oh I'm peachy now, don't you worry." Jungkook smiles, mood completely transformed. "My lucky charm's here now. Nothing can stop me."

Taehyung and Jungkook completely forget that they aren't alone, and that a match has been put on pause. Taehyung smiles and gently smacks his cheek. "Brat."

"I need a kiss." Jungkook says. "That should give me all the energy I need."

Taehyung narrows his eyes, but leans in and presses one to his cheek. "There. That's it."

There's a collective gasp followed by cheering, and only then do the two of them snap out of it. Taehyung blushes, and stands up hurriedly.

Jungkook gets up too, with a little help from his friends, and dusts his shorts. "What's that banner?"

Taehyung blushes as he bends to pick it up, before unrolling it and showing Jungkook. "I was picking this up which took an extra five minutes."

Across the banner, the words 'Jeon Jungkook fighting!' are written in bold, red letters. There is a picture of Jungkook smiling on the side, and one of him playing football on the other.

"You got this for me?" Jungkook blushes a little too.

"Yeah... You said it was an important game." Taehyung says, blushing himself.

"Guys, you can play lovers later but for now, this match must continue." Yoongi teases. "Taehyung-ssi, nice to see you."

Taehyung clears his throat and steps back, and him and Namjoon bow at each other too. He turns to Jungkook, gives him a quick hug, and whispers.

"Good luck baby." Taehyung says into his ears, and then smiles. "If you win, I might just reward you."

Jungkook's eyes go wide, and he limps a little as he steps back, searching Taehyung's face for a clue. "What..." He licks his lips and looks around, and then whispers. "What reward, hyung?"

Taehyung smiles smugly. "It's a surprise. Now go and show the other team how it's done."

Jungkook smiles then, and steps back. "Fine, then. I'll find out myself, first hand, once I win."

"And I'd love nothing more." Taehyung smiles before gently patting his shoulder. "Be careful, okay? You can play... Right?"

"Don't worry, hyung. It's just a small injury. It's not even hurting anymore." Jungkook says, and then calls their manager.

"Hyung... Can you please show Taehyung hyung to his seat?" Jungkook smiles. "Thank you."

Taehyung goes and takes a seat that's been reserved for him in the vip section, and the game resumes.

Taehyung feels a little shy at first, but soon he's opening up the banner on full display and holding it up to cheer his boyfriend on.

And Jungkook is a whole other person than he was a few minutes ago. It's like his battery that had run out has finally been recharged, and he's back to being the beast he usually is on the field.

Within five minutes, he scores the first goal for his team.

Taehyung jumps up in joy, waving the banner and smiling big as his eyes follow Jungkook on the field.

Jungkook, while being hugged and cheered on by his teammates, looks straight at Taehyung and smiles.

What the two of them don't realise is that the camera is on Jungkook's face, and everyone now knows he's looking somewhere else.

The camera then pans in the direction he's looking at, and suddenly, Taehyung is on the screen, smiling at Jungkook still.

The audience goes crazy, and that's when they snap out of it.

It takes Taehyung a few seconds to realise he's on the big screen, and he just blushes furiously, laughs and waves, at which the audience cheers again.

The game continues again. Namjoon scores a goal, but so does the opposing team.

A point comes right before halftime when either the opposing team could pull a tie, or Jungkook's team could take a proper lead. It's a tense, adrenaline filled match.

And right before halftime, a striker from the opposing team scores a goal.

Jungkook doesn't even look at Taehyung for a while, determined to turn the game around.

During halftime, Jungkook comes back and sits next to Taehyung for a while. Taehyung gives him a hug, and watches as Jungkook munches on some snacks while listening to what their coach has to say.

Soon, the match resumes again.

Yoongi manages to score a goal then, but soon after, the other team scores another goal. The stadium goes quieter as everyone gets anxious, because both teams are playing neck to neck.

Taehyung has a knot in his stomach too.

It doesn't help that they're running out of time before the match concludes.

But then, like magic, Jungkook moves through the field with such speed and tact that the ball literally looks like it's gliding across the expanse of green.

And then, Jungkook kicks the ball and sends it flying. The goalkeeper tries, but fails to deflect the ball, and it goes right into the net.

The stadium erupts in cheers. Taehyung's heart pounds so hard, and a sigh of relief escapes his mouth.

"He did it!" Taehyung literally screams, and looks around. "They're going to win, right? Jungkook just scored the fourth goal!"

And then, the ninety minutes end. The cheers get louder, Jungkook's teammates surround him and hug him for scoring the winning goal.

And as the camera focuses on his face, once again, his eyes are facing the same direction.

Taehyung looks like he's going to climb right out of his seat with his banner, jumping up and down in joy and pride, waving to Jungkook with a big smile on his face.

And as Jungkook walks out and away from his teammates, he bows to the audience on all sides before facing Taehyung, and blowing a kiss towards him.

Everyone present in the stadium swoons.

And as some journalists rush to cover the winning team and especially Jungkook, who's certainly the man of the match, a few of them also approach Taehyung.

One of them asks, "Taehyung-ssi, you seem very happy that Jungkook-ssi scored a goal. Are the two of you close?"

Taehyung smiles, and something warm and fuzzy blooms in his chest. Jungkook, while speaking to the media, throws glances his way too, biting back smiles.

"Well..." Taehyung smiles at the journalist. "Considering that he's my boyfriend, yes, I'd say we're pretty close."

Jungkook hears the words that are amplified because of the microphone Taehyung speaks into, and fumbles. He forgets what he was talking about, and just stares, a smile on his face.

"Jungkook-ssi!" The journalist gasps. "Kim Taehyung-ssi just called you his boyfriend!'

"Yeah." Jungkook nods. "That's because I am... His boyfriend. And he's mine."

Saying so, Jungkook politely excuses himself with a smile, and runs across the field towards Taehyung, forgetting about everything else for a moment.

Taehyung runs downwards and towards the field too, a proud smile on his face. The moment they meet, Jungkook pulls him into a hug and Taehyung kisses his cheek.

"I'm so proud of you, baby." Taehyung whispers. "So, so proud to call you mine."

"Thank you hyung." Jungkook smiles, and then gently brushes back his hair, neither of them caring about all the cameras on them.

Jungkook leans in then, and with a smile, whispers. "Now... What are we going to do about that reward you promised me?"

Taehyung chuckles, looks at him, and then gently pats his cheek twice.

"You'll find out when it's time." Taehyung smiles. "Be a little patient, Jungkook-ssi."

Two weeks have passed, they've been on several other dates, and are currently on the road, taking turns driving to Chuncheon-si.

Jungkook is driving currently, while Taehyung enjoys the feeling of wind in his hair through the window.

There are a lot of thoughts brewing in his head.

He's always been someone to fall for the people he likes easily. In the past too, he's fallen for them relatively quickly. Taehyung is the kind of person who likes to love freely without limitations.

There's so much love inside him that sometimes it oozes out without a stop to it. But in the past, it hasn't played out well for him.

Every time he's said he loves someone, it has never ended well. And so, this time, he's been afraid and wary.

Scared — to mess up what they have. To screw up this beautiful thing him and Jungkook are building.

What if the moment he accepts his feelings and says them out loud, somehow it all gets jinxed? The idea terrifies Taehyung.

He's come to be really fond of Jungkook, and he's so used to him being a part of his life at this point that he can't bear the thought of losing him.

He turns to look at Jungkook, and smiles as something tugs at his heartstrings.

Taehyung really cares about him, thinks of him whenever something nice happens and wants to share every little thing with him.

Whenever they laugh in a group setting, Jungkook is the first person he looks at. When he's sad, Jungkook is who he wants to talk to these days.

How can he, then, even imagine life without him now? Jungkook has woven himself into Taehyung's routine, and it's not something Taehyung wants to or can bear the thought of unraveling.

However, he knows that Jungkook deserves to be loved loudly.

Exactly the way Taehyung loves. Exactly the way he has loved in the past before being hurt.

Jungkook has been wonderful to him until now, and nothing like those that came before. Then maybe, saying the words is worth the risk.

Jungkook glances at him too, and instantly, his lips curl up in a smile. As he's driving the convertible, with his sunglasses on and the wind blowing through his hair, he looks like quite the sight.

"What?" Jungkook smiles. "What are you thinking about?"

Taehyung simply shakes his head, reaches out and very gently cups Jungkook's cheek before turning his face towards the road.

"Nothing." He smiles, heart fluttering in his chest. "Eyes on the road, Jungkook-ssi."

The resort Taehyung has booked for their stay is gorgeous, and Jungkook is excited the moment he steps inside.

Taehyung is excited too, but he's busy admiring his boyfriend at the moment.

It's dark by the time they reach, and immediately after, they take turns washing up and then have dinner together, getting room service to bring it in their room.

It's pretty late by the time they're done.

There are two bedrooms inside the suite they've booked, and by default, Jungkook expects that they're going to sleep in different beds.

However, he really doesn't want to. So, he lingers in Taehyung's room for as long as he can.

Jungkook hugs him from the back, and doesn't let go. He walks with Taehyung as the latter brushes his teeth and does his skincare, getting ready to go to bed, hoping with everything that Taehyung doesn't make him leave.

That he asks him to stay.

"Did you brush your teeth?" Taehyung asks, rubbing moisturizer onto his face and staring in the mirror.

"Uh huh." Jungkook says.

"Skincare?" Taehyung asks.

"Um, almost. I still haven't put moisturizer on my face." Jungkook says, pressing a kiss to his shoulder.

Taehyung rolls his eyes, turns around, and squeezes some out. Then, he rubs it onto Jungkook's cheeks one by one.

"How can you forget moisturizer?" Taehyung gently scolds. "It's the most important step— whoa. Your cheeks are so soft, baby."

Jungkook blushes, and looks right into Taehyung's eyes. "It's pretty late, huh?"

Taehyung smiles. "Yeah. We should sleep. And yet, you're still clinging onto me."

Jungkook's heart drops a little.

"Don't you want me to?"

"Of course I want you to." Taehyung squishes his cheeks with both hands and presses a kiss to his lips. "But weren't you the one saying it's late?"

"Right." Jungkook sulks. "I'll get going then. To the other room. To sleep."

"Or..." Taehyung nervously bites down on his lips, and hopes for the best response from Jungkook. "You could... Um, sleep here. With me. In the same bed?"

Jungkook instantly turns around, crashes into him and pulls him into a soul crushing hug. "I thought you wouldn't ask!"

Taehyung laughs as he's nearly pushed back from the impact, wrapping his hands around Jungkook as well.

"Silly, you could have just said you wanted to sleep here." Taehyung kisses his shoulder. "You thought I'd say no or something?"

"Okay." Jungkook grabs Taehyung's wrist, and pulls. "Bed. Now!"

Taehyung laughs, heart fluttering with excitement and love. "Calm down, I'm not running away."

Jungkook doesn't let go of his hand, though. He climbs into bed, scoots in, and pulls Taehyung until he's falling right into his arms.

"Hyung." Jungkook sighs, relaxing as he pulls him closer. "My Taehyung hyung. Only mine."

"Yeah, baby." Taehyung's heart soars inside his chest, something warm and fuzzy and Jungkook shaped making his insides tingle. "I'm all yours."

"I'm all yours too, don't worry." Jungkook chuckles as he lies down, pulling Taehyung with him.

Jungkook stretches out comfortably then, and makes sure Taehyung is lying down properly too right next to him, before he pulls the duvet over them.

Then, he snuggles even closer, pressing a kiss to Taehyung's cheek.

And then, one to his lips. Jungkook's arms cage Taehyung against the bed before they know it, and he loses himself in those sweet kisses.

Taehyung kisses him back, smiling against his lips because he realises this is the happiest he's been in years.

Jungkook pulls back and stares into his eyes, letting out a soft sigh. "You're so beautiful I can't believe you're mine."

Taehyung gulps, reaches out to touch his cheek, and blurts it out. "Jungkook-ah... I love you."

Jungkook goes completely quiet, then. His eyes widen a little, and he looks like he's seen a ghost or something.

He doesn't speak, doesn't even move. Just keeps looking into Taehyung's eyes, wondering if he heard that right.

"Huh..." He manages finally. "You... Love me? Really?"

Taehyung can't help but smile as he slowly nods, feeling that love he's talking about flowing right out. "Really... I mean it. I love you, Jeon Jungkook."

Taehyung doesn't expect Jungkook to get off him, roll away, and curl in on himself before pulling the blanket over his head.

Brows furrowing, Taehyung stares at the ceiling in confusion before he turns to Jungkook. "Baby?"

Taehyung rolls to his side, and leans on top of him, poking his shoulder. "Jungkook-ah... What's wrong? I thought... You wanted to hear it."

And just like that, despite knowing that fact, Taehyung gets a little nervous again. Did he just jinx his most perfect relationship ever?

But then, he hears sniffling. Eyes going wide, he pulls the blanket away from Jungkook's face, and turns him towards himself.

Jungkook's eyes are moist, tears streaming down his cheeks and his nose is all red, making him look adorable even while crying.

"Baby, are you crying?" Taehyung asks, heart breaking a little.

Jungkook wipes his tears away. "Sorry, I just... I can't believe you just said that. That this is real. I've... I've loved you for so long, hyung. And finally... It's a little overwhelming."

Taehyung just stares, heart relaxing again.

Jungkook sniffles. "This is where you comfort me."

Taehyung frowns, and smacks him on the shoulder.

"You idiot! You scared me." He says, and then snuggles closer, hugging him. "Never do that again."

Jungkook hugs him too, and sniffles into his neck this time. "Say it again."

"I love you." Taehyung smiles.

"Again."

"I love you, Jeon Jungkook." Taehyung fondly rolls his eyes.

"One more time."

"Go to sleep!" Taehyung laughs, and smacks him on the shoulder again.

But as he tries to roll away, Jungkook grabs his wrist. He stares into Taehyung's eyes, as if waiting.

Taehyung gets closer again, and presses a kiss to his lips. "I love you, baby. And you deserve every bit of that love. Okay?"

"Okay." Jungkook smiles through the tears, lets Taehyung roll away but then snuggles closer again and throws a leg over him.

Taehyung bites back a smile, and pulls him in. "Well. I guess this is how I'm sleeping tonight, then."

The following morning, Taehyung wakes up first. He yawns and stretches before he looks at Jungkook's face, and a smile instantly spreads across his lips.

He's so cute, fast asleep with his cheek pressed to Taehyung's shoulder.

The entire night, Jungkook hasn't let go of him. Now when it's morning, his arms are still locked around Taehyung like steel.

Jungkook's thighs, while Taehyung's favorite, aren't too lightweight and he needs to get them off himself to be able to get out of bed.

Taehyung very carefully pushes his thighs away partially, but it's his arms that are absolutely impossible to move.

It's like even in his sleep, Jungkook is trying to guard some kind of treasure that someone might steal from him.

Taehyung sighs, but still feels fond. Turning to Jungkook, he lightly brushes his fingers over his cheeks, and whispers.

"Baby...?" Taehyung is gentle, heart akin to a puddle. "I need to pee. Can you please let me go for a bit?"

Jungkook mumbles something in his sleep, but only throws his thighs back where they were and tightens his arms around Taehyung. "Hyung..." He whines even in his sleep. "Where are you going..."

"To pee. Basic human needs. Call of nature." Taehyung bites back a smile. "Please?"

At that, Jungkook grunts softly before letting go and rolling over to the other side. "Don't take too long."

"No I won't." Taehyung says, knowing he's lying as he tiptoes out of this corner of the suite to the other. It's high time he starts preparing for Jungkook's reward.

Taehyung rushes to the other bedroom, and quickly freshens up in the attached bathroom. He then washes his face, does his skincare quickly, and then styles his hair quickly.

He doesn't do much on his face, but makes sure it looks neat and clean and beautiful.

He switches from pajamas to a short knee length bathrobe, and ties it at the waist.

His heart pounds merely from imagining what's about to come, but first, he has to go wake Jungkook up.

But as soon as he opens the door, Jungkook is already there. He isn't as sleepy anymore, but he does seem a little cranky at Taehyung's prolonged absence.

"Hyung, you said you'd—" Jungkook pauses, taking Taehyung in. "Oh. Wow. Why are you all... Dressed up?"

"Dressed up?" Taehyung chuckles. "It's just a bathrobe."

"But your hair is all pretty." Jungkook says. "I mean, styled."

"I'm going to shower. Um..." Taehyung says.

Jungkook eyes him up and down. "But you look like you already did. And you smell so good."

Saying so, Jungkook comes and pulls him into a hug. He buries his nose into Taehyung's neck, and hums. "So good."

"Baby." Taehyung says, gently caressing his hair, and walking backwards towards the bathroom. "I'm really going to shower. Again."

"Why?" Jungkook asks, confused. "It's my turn. Why would you shower again when you just did?"

Taehyung smiles and pulls back, and then takes Jungkook's wrist. Heart pounding in his chest, he pulls him away into the bathroom.

Jungkook's heart goes crazy in his chest as he starts connecting the dots from the look on Taehyung's face.

"Yeah. It is your turn." Taehyung says. "Which is why, you should join me in the shower. Do you... Want to?"

The two of them smile and blush like crazy for the rest of the day.

"I've been rewarded!" Jungkook says in a sing-song manner as he drives a convertible through the streets. "I have been rewarded so well, everyone!"

Taehyung hides his face behind his palms, shaking from laughter as he smacks his boyfriend every few minutes.

"Who even are you saying that to on these empty roads?" Taehyung elbows him. "And why are you yelling it like that—"

"Hyung, wait. I have a question." Jungkook continues driving, glancing at Taehyung only briefly. "Which one was actually the reward? The way we started this morning, or...? The fact that you said you love me?"

Taehyung's expression softens.

"Which one do you think it was?" He leans back against the car seat.

"That you love me." Jungkook smiles. "Obviously?"

Taehyung bites back a smile, looks at him fondly, and then smacks him again.

"Ow!" Jungkook chuckles. "What was that for?"

Taehyung reaches out, caresses Jungkook's cheek and plays with the collar of his shirt as he chuckles too.

"I dressed up early in the morning, did all that, and look at this brat saying it wasn't even his reward. Hm?"

"Oh." Jungkook's smile grows. "I mean... Obviously it was rewarding. But do you realise what you saying you love me means to me?"

Taehyung's eyes soften some more, and he teases. "From that Kim Taehyung cupboard you have at home... Yeah I kind of have an idea."

"Hey!" Jungkook blushes. "You can't use that against me. I was an obsessed fan before I became your lover."

It only makes Taehyung laugh harder, before it is interrupted by a phone call. "Huh? Director Kang?"

Somehow, Jungkook gets more excited than him. He gasps. "Is it a new role? Pick up!"

Taehyung smiles. After his last break up, he had started doubting everything about himself, including his acting skills. He picks up the phone, and presses it to his ear. "Hello!"

And Jungkook glances his way for the next several seconds and tries to decipher what they're talking about from Taehyung's expression.

At the end of the phone call, Taehyung looks very obviously happy and is nodding, before he ends the call.

"So...?" Jungkook asks. "Good news?"

"Jeon Jungkook-ssi." Taehyung sighs dramatically, throwing his head back as the wind blows through his hair. "How would you like to have a detective genius boyfriend?"

Jungkook's lips pull up into a smile. "Wow. Your portfolio really has range, hyung."

"It sounds like an amazing role. He asked me to meet him over coffee so we can discuss it, but it's more or less confirmed." Taehyung smiles. "Jungkook... I've still got it, right?"
