Sometimes we act like simple means outdated.

Like if it isn’t hooked to a machine or synced to an app, it’s not “modern” training. But go back and watch what built some of the best athletes in the world…single leg jumps, depth drops, broad jumps, classic strength training.

That’s not outdated. That’s coaching.

You don’t need a force plate to teach someone how to land. You don’t need a wearable to get someone faster. And you definitely don’t need a $10,000 system to help a kid solve a movement problem.

I’m not anti-technology. I bought a resisted

sprint device, own multiple velocity trackers, and make kinograms often. They can absolutely help, but they don’t replace coaching.

They’re accessories to execution. To understanding force, rhythm, timing, joint strategy, etc. To helping athletes become problem solvers in

motion.

The further you get into this field, the more you realize that mastery lives in the details, not the gimmicks.

New speed development eBook and training program is (hopefully) dropping within the next month. Easily the most detailed, thorough product I’ve created.

Deep dives on speed, progressions, plyos, sprint variations, programming rationale, and more.

In the meantime, I’ve marked down some of my older programs (beginner, advanced, and youth options) if you’re looking for a structured system right now.
