Super Paper Mario might be important for Deltarune's endgame, a rant-like super thread [2/8].

This is the second part of a 4-part recap/comparison.
The remaining 4 parts will be reserved for speculation.

The 2nd chapter properly begins within the game's "hub" so to speak, to where you bring something from the previous chapter.

Soon after, you encounter the next possible team member, a blonde princess. This character is in a vulnerable state when met.

The main world of this chapter is a glimmering location.

In both worlds, you'll eventually reach a "mansion".

This mansion is filled with traps, enemies and worse of all... POTTERY.

The main boss of this chapter is a stylish, yet tyrannical and egocentric character.

Alternatively, is a small character who pretends to be "stylish" when it's just pathetic and petty, and possesses a menacing alternate form.

Conveniently, both battles take place in a mansion's basement.

After defeating the main boss, some part of the lore is presented to the player via exposition.

This chapter then ends with the heroes fulfilling another part of the prophecy.
