Taehyung was here some time ago, the scent was still too fresh- he was here, yet he missed him.

His alpha growls again, something is not sitting right with it.

There is something wrong with Taehyung's scent, something the alpha cannot place but it is making him antsy, it his making dread bind in his insides.

He missed Taehyung, but he needs to reach the omega as soon as possible, he needs to.

“Are you sure the healer is not going to register us?” Jimin asks in a whisper. Yoongi holds his arm, Taehyung stands just beside them.

“I will make sure they do not. You both need to see the healers. You both need to make sure the pups”, he frowns, Jimin winces, “are okay.”

“You know it is not Jiminie's fault for keeping the pup a secret right?” Taehyung hisses at the alpha, “with how your pack would have caged him-”

“I did not know I was included in the bunch of wolves who would shackle him”, Yoongi says, tone rid of emotions, his eyes icy.

Taehyung falls silent, looks at Jimin. Jimin tears at his lip but does not speak further.

Yoongi just pushes them forward lightly, “Just go. Talk to her. Tell her about the complications you both have been having.”

Taehyung hesitates before he is stepping in through the

curtains.

They have stopped in another village. A village that had healers who did not stand with the government fully, so they are said to not report things. They are said to deal with things by themselves.

It is an elderly omega who smiles at him as she checks his vitals.

Before she is frowning, "Your", she pauses, it makes Taehyung's heartbeat rises, it makes her frown more, “your blood pressure is high”, she says, her voice rid of any emotions, “very high.”

Taehyung gulps, “is that bad for the...”, he trails off.

Now she frowns more at that,

as she sits and touches his lower stomach to check on him, “how have you been feeling?”

Taehyung bites his lips- he has been feeling weak these days, with constant headaches and blurred visions but he had choked it up to because he has not been eating well these days.

He does not say everything to her, instead quietly speaks a bit. She is looking at him carefully, “you are not far along”, she says, “where is the alpha father of the pup?” she says, her eyes falling to Taehyung's unmarked scent gland.

She knows. She knows he is not mates.

"He is-"

"At work", Jimin cuts him off, "He is travelling for work. Me and my mate decided to being him along with us for a little travelling as well. We go back to the pack tonight."

She looks at Taehyung, Taehyung nods slowly.

“Very well”, she says before she starts

cluttering around in her vials amd pouches of herbs, “you should mate as soon as possible”, she says, “it seems you are developing symptoms for preeclampsia. It is high blood pressure. It is not good for the pup or you. You are not far along but you are already having these

symptoms. They are only going to rise. Now it could be because you are under heavy stress”, she looks at him dubiously but he just stares at her, “or it could be a natural development that your body just is going through for your pregnancy. So I would say to mate as soon as

possible to balance your omega out. I would give you some herbs to take before that, to try to calm the symptoms down but if this keeps on going, your pup is going to be developed with a high heart rate.”

Taehyung does not give anything away with his expression even as he feels

his heart beat turning painful.

Jimin looks at him with a worried look. He nods slowly, “I understand.”

He is only two weeks in and in two weeks, he has endangered himself and his pup.

He holds a defeated snort in.

He needs to mate to solve the problem. How does he tell her it is the alpha father himself why he has the blood pressure? How does the alpha father solve it when he himself is causing it?

She moves onto Jimin.

Taehyung sits there, with his head leaning back on the chair,

staring at the wall overhead.

Jungkook should be mated already no? He is probably with her now, his true mate.

Maybe Jungkook's alpha did not like Taehyung's

omega that much even if they were mates in their previous life.

So he cannot blame Jiwon.

He thinks of the alpha they met briefly in the caravan, the alpha was filled with anger at his alpha

father for choosing some other omega but his appa. He thinks how his pup might look that if he continues being angry towards Jungkook, he thinks all this and he feels the anger that has been pressing into him dim a bit.

He does not want his pup to carry that anger.

He does

not want his pup be born with a high heart rate.

He does not want anything bad for his pup. At all.

He is going to have a pup, he needs to put the pup first.

Jungkook is now married and mates, he cannot be thinking of an alpha like that. Especially when he has no claims

over Jungkook.

He snaps his gaze when he feels Yoongi come in through the curtains all of a sudden, his alpha scent rotten as it stings the air, his eyes are wild as he says, “we need to leave”, he snaps, “now!”

Taehyung stands up almost immediately, so does Jimin as they look at Yoongi, eyes wide.

The healer stands up to, “I am not done, I-”

“You have to be done now”, Yoongi growls, before he takes Jimin in his hold.

“Did they register us?” Taehyung hisses as they get out of there.

“No”, Yoongi says through gritted teeth, “someone fucking snitched that a pregnant unmated omega is staying at this village.”

Taehyung's eyes blue, “how did they know, how did they-”

“The seoul pack guards are here”, Yoongi says instead, “in the village. Looking for you now.”

"Whoever that alpha is, the one your parents fixed/wants/ you. Wants you to go till every length for you, he is here too I heard, had been looking for you like a headless chicken-"

The words make Taehyung falter in his steps just as they are running between two huts.

"Taehyung!" Jimin whisper screams, "what are you doing?”

Taehyung opens his mouth but Yoongi cuts him off, “whatever is it. Do ot on the run because we need to leave-”

“What if I don't leave?” Taehyung says, shocking the other two as they eyes turn colors.

"What?" Jimin asks fearfully.

"We cannot hide in the village. We do not know anywhere here nor do we know anyone-"

"I am not", Taehyung cuts him off, his voice turning firm, "talking about hiding here. I am talking about me staying and”, he gulps, “giving myself up. To stop the

chase," he lets out.

Yoongi blinks, his words not dawning on him yet, "what-”

But Jimin gets it as the omega shakes his head vehemently, “you cannot do that. I refuse to let you do that. I will run forever with you if it means you will not go to that bastard who ki!ls his mates

for fun and laughs!”

“But what if he truly wants me?” Taehyung says, gulping, “he- he is doing all these to find me, he is traveling packs to find me while the alpha I truly want got mated to some other omega yesterday so what if I give him a chance?”

At the words, Yoongi flinches behind like the omega had hurt him, “are you insane Taehyung?!” he snaps, “what wants you? Do you not understand he killed his previous mate? That he killed someone? That he can do the same to you?”

“What if he doesn't, what if he truly loves me?”

"You have lost you goddamn mind, Taehyung", Yoongi scolds him, "he wants you just like a thousand other alphas want you. Now he is going crazy for you because he sees you as he forbidden fruit. It is to appease his pride, not his love!”

Taehyung shakes his head, “how long are we

going to run for hyung? You have a pup coming along, you need to settle. I- I have a pup too, I need to think of its future and mine now that Jungkook is mated, I-”

“But he is not the solution”, Jimin whispers, “is he? What if he kil!s your pup?”

Taehyung freezes.

“You know he will. He might not kill you if he loves you but do you think an alpha like that will be okay with another alpha's pup?” he whispers.

Taehyung feels his insides breaking, “then what do I do? They are after me, they are never going to leave me, us alone-”

“Then we will figure it out later on. I promise we will”, Yoongi says, his voice careful as he puts a hand up as if he is nervous Taehyung is going to run from them.

Taehyung looks down at the hand.

Jimin calls him too, his voice gentle now, “Tae, lets go. We will find a way

out. We will. But we need to leave now.. otherwise that alpha is going to kill your pup or even you-"

Taehyung hugs himself as he almost curls into himself.

But, he starts walking towards them, head heavy, heart beating loudly in his ears.

He hears Yoongi and Jimin let out a

breath in relief before they walk with him in between.

But he should have known delaying would only work against him.

As they go to get out of the village, they notice the guards already on the exists, searching everyone.

Yoongi backtracks to find a forest to get out through

maybe they could turn and run but before he can even step out, he hears Taehyung's name being called.

Terror grips Taehyung when he recognizes the voice, it is him, that alpha he was to marry, it is him, it is him.

“Run”, Yoongi's voice commands, his alpha voice out.
