but then he stills when suddenly, his head turns heady as a light headed feeling engulfs him. He strengthens his hands on the tile to hold himself.

His heart starts taking up beat as a thought trickles into his mind, the headiness momentarily subsiding in his panic.

Another headiness engulfs him as he starts feeling dizzy, the panic increases as his hands weaken on the tile, “this could not be”, he breaths out, grits his teeth to hold the tile harder

as he waits for the headiness to stop.

He knows it will.

He did not feel the headiness before which means it was only coming.

He sits down on the tile, keeping his head on his knees as the shower runs over his naked body, waiting till the headiness stops, waiting till his

muscles stop feeling weak until it stops, minutes after.

He stands up and opens his eyes. He closes the shower and walks out, not caring if the water drips on the bathroom floor.

Taehyung will shout at him.

But he does not care.

His eyes are red, they are fearful,

they are horrified, the emotions are heavy. His scent is spiked up and raw, the smoky scent hanging from the air.

He leans on the basin, his hands on the either side.

Taehyung is going to kill him for taking the same room now, he is going to hate him more.

The omega knocks on the door, the alpha looks

Jungkook turns and starts walking towards the door, any word the omega is saying, not registering

anything until he is opening the door, catching the omega off guard.

He watches as the omega's eyes widen comically, pretty lids blowing off to their ends, before he pauses, “-Jungkook?” he says.

The alpha watches as the omega's eyes still on his face before they drop to his

naked chest, wear the water droplets are rolling down his ripped, hard muscles.

The omega's throat dries. His eyes blues as it gets stuck on a lone water droplet that drops from the alpha's hair strand to the middle of his chest, before it is rolling down the said chest, slowly.

It is slow, the water droplet as it rolls down the alpha's stomach and disappears in the towel wrapped just below the alpha's vline.

His heart gives a lurch at the V line.

It is toned, way more toned than any other body he has seen.

He gulps, before he freezes, realizing

just whose body he is staring at, realizing the alpha can see him.

The omega snaps his eyes up then, to match Jungkook's narrowed, red ones.

“What- why are you naked?” Taehyung cries, wheeling back as panic grips him, looking away in slivers of seconds.

Jungkook watches him.

He waits.

Taehyung mutters by himself, “how could you just- you are an unmated alpha, I am an unmated omega, you literally have an omega-”

“You have your alphas too”, Jungkook mutters out, could not stop himself.

Taehyung freezes, looks at him in anger

“Smell the scent”, Jungkook cuts him off, the conversation was veering off

Taehyung stops, listens to him without arguing as if he wants to change the subject as well even though his eyes are angered. But when he smells the scent, it drops in his eyes visibly.

The blue eyes dulls in

emotions, Jungkook does not dare to read, in fear of the heartbreak it would cause him.

“You”, the omega's throat bobs, “your rut is here?”

Taehyung's heart drops down to his stomach, “oh.”

Taehyung holds his hands together in front of stomach, his hanbok swirls around him as he waits for the alpha. His eyes on him.

The wolves all around are staring at him.

They are in a small city just a few packs away from the Jeons, so all the wolves know the Jeons. They

respect the Jeons, the Jeon heir. So they are aware of the upcoming coronation and mating ceremony.

Taehyung stands like an odd addition to them.

They do not know where to place him. So they stare, steal glances at him, tries to look for Jungkook's scent on Taehyung to make

sense of the relationship they carry.

But, they get more confused when they don't smell Taehyung's scent at all.

When they don't even smell Jungkook's.

It is odd, they know, for the Alpha heir to suppress his scent.

Jungkook's smells of his rut,

Taehyung's scent is laced with Jungkook rut as well.

healer?”

Jungkook watches the omega as they walk, “Do you think you have the right to worry about me?” he asks, his voice gentle, words stinging.

Taehyung's throat dries, “n-no-”

Jungkook nods, entering their inn, “we have taken a suit now. We have separate rooms, my rut

should not worry you anymore”, the alpha pushes him inside their suit before he is getting into his room.

Taehyung stares at the shut door. The alpha is right. He should not worry for him. At all.

But he can't help the worry that fills him, the anxiety that worry causes him.

The anxiousness is gnawing at his gut.

Ruts are not supposed to make one dizzy, they are not supposed to make one feel heady.

He sits, his hands fisting his hanbok again, he wishes he could talk to his family doctor about it or- or do some research about it, but he has no

devices on him. He has nothing on him to know what is wrong with Jungkook.

Because there is something wrong, he feels it, his omega knows it even when he doesn't want to.

He presses his lips together and lies on the bed, curling into himself, just a small kitchen separates

him and Jungkook but Taehyung has not felt a distance this big since his rejection.

Jungkook grits his teeth together tightly.

He was wrong.

He did not have few days left. He did not realize he only had a few hours left since last night.

His eyes are bleary now, ears ringing as he lies, curled on his bed.

Jungkook's jaw tightens, “do you have no shame? Wanting to come to an

unmated alpha's room? That too the heir's-”

“I was scolded by you for having no shame ever remember, Alpha Jeon? I am a city omega, the modern ones, we have no shame so no, I don't. Can you open this door? I can't smell your scent,” Taehyung's voice grows hostile.
