A/B/O where Omega Shoto needs to have his suitors approved by Endeavor before they can go to officially courting.

And from the moment Shoto started talking about two Alpha classmates Bk and Dk, Enji knows one or both of them is gonna come to ask for his permission.

He says nothing about it to Shoto but half of his treatment of BkDk during the internship is him appraising them of their potential as heroes but also partners to his son.

And then the dread starts to set in a bit. Bc he can't figure out which one will eventually ask.

And he thinks he favors Dk as Shoto's future mate at first but then he sees Bk doing incredible things and not being afraid to sacrifice himself. He has the heart of a true hero.

So yes Enji realizes, as they get ready for the final battle, he would be okay with either of them.

But now comes the question of which will it be?

He hopes Shoto is ready to make such a choice between his two suitors when they officially start courting him.

Then in the middle of second year he gets a message from Dk, asking for a meeting between Enji and BkDk.

"Oh, so now we are finally doing it," Enji thinks to himself and prepares for the meeting with BkDk.

They are at a restaurant, one Enji requested a private room from, and BkDk are clearly nervous but determined as they wait for him to sit down.

"We want to ask for your blessing to court Shoto!" Dk pipes up. And Bk gives a gruff nod to assert his agreement.

Enji takes a deep breath, "I know this day was coming and yes you both are worthy enough to court my son. However I do have a concern. You are both very dear to Shoto, what will happen to your relationship with him when he chooses one of you over the other?"

BkDk cock their heads, confused.
Bk: What are you talking about old man?
Dk: Why would Shoto choose only one of us? We both want him and he seems to want us both.

Enji: Well he can't have two Alphas.
Bk: Says fucking who?

Enji was surprised and confused now. "Wait, you both intend to *share* him? Your Omega mate?"

The thought was laughable, everyone knew how possessive Alphas were of their mates, the idea that these two Alphas were both willing to share his son was not one he'd considered.

Bk: It'd be with Deku! I trust him with my life and my omega, he's the only one besides me who is worthy of being Shoto's mate!
Dk: I would share anything with Kacchan because I know he'd treat Shoto as if he was the most precious thing in the world.

Enji was stumped, there did not seem to be an ounce of jealousy between them over their mutual interest in Shoto.

It was a cliche in stories at this point of two Alpha friends becoming enemies over a falling out over a mutual love interest.

It was odd to see two young Alphas so ready to both share their mate.

But there was something they were not considering. Shoto.

They were seriously asking Enji to allow his precious son to be known as one of those Omegas that took two concurrent mates.

Those Omegas were not looked on favorably in society, mostly seen as loose sluts who were to emotionally damaged to commit fully to their one True Alpha like they were supposed to.

Enji could not bear to imagine Shoto being labeled that publicly if both BkDk were to mate him.

His son? His Shoto? A harlot? He could never be the No. 1 hero if he was known as having two Alpha mates at the same time.

"I do not accept your courting of Shoto."

Silence.

"...what?" Bk said flatly, and Enji saw small pops start to come off his hands.

"Uh, Endeavor, can you please elaborate? You said we were both worthy." His voice was tight and controlled.

"I would approve of either of you being Shoto's future mate, but I can't accept it being both of you. I do not give you my permission to court Shoto."

There was another long moment of silence before Bk started letting out a quiet laugh that grew louder.
"You think we need your *permission*? Okay let me make this fucking clear, we are doing this bc Shoto wanted to give you a chance to do this right.

"We *ARE* both gonna be Shoto's mates no matter what you think on the matter, we do not care about your permission, and this was to merely to ask if we had your blessing, but we don't really care if we don't have that either."

Dk cut in, "We have been dating Shoto for a while now and he has already told us he wants it to be us both and Kacchan and I both love him, and love each other aside, that yes we fully intend to be a family of three, until Shoto decides he wants to have our kids."

"But you would be raising another Alphas's child?" Enji said in shock.

"And? They would be my kids too bc I said so!" Bk barked. "Get with the times old man! The three of us are fine with this.

"And we don't really give a fuck if you're fine or not but we wanted to give you the chance to do this right.

So here it is: We are dating Shoto and both plan to mate him, and each other, and how much Shoto talks to you after is gonna depend all on you."

Enji sat in silence as both boys looked at him, waiting for his response, but both very clearly half expecting to walk out the door if he did not say something they would deem acceptable.

"I see."

Beat.

"I guess all I can do is say I accept."

And then both BkDk gave him an equally smug smile as they thanked him and looked forward to proving how good of Alphas they would be for Shoto.

a/n: Did not get into it here bc it is not Enji's business, but BkDk are absolutely fucking and in love here too, were before they both presented and them both being Alphas changes nothing.
