Izuku never got anything for Valentin. Well, he also never expected anyone to care about the quirkless boy in class. But U.A is different. He is different. How would Ochako call this? He kind of had a glow up?

Well, it's a new feeling seeing all the chocolate and valentines cards. Flustered and overwhelmed, he puts all the gifts away. He will look through them later at the dorms and write cute answers to everyone who thought about him at valentines day.

Humming happily, Izuku reads every card. A lot of them are from his friend. He giggles, reading some of their inside jokes and touching messages. Almost every one of his class wrote him, all but one.

Katsuki.

A little dejected by Izuku tries not to feel too sad about it.

His friend never gave anyone gifts. He shouldn't expect him to gift hin something too. It's not like Izuku has been giving him valentine gifts since they were kids. He probably doesn't even read his cards...

Slapping his cheeks, Izuku gets a grip. He should stop his thoughts.

Katsuki and him just started to be friends again! His crush on him would ruin everything.

Sticking his tongue out, he starts to layout his answers to his friends.

On a different floor, Katsuki sits in his room, staring at a single red card on his desk.

The 'to Kacchan' is screaming at him. He should ignore it, like all the other cards he got. God damit he should ignore the card like every ficking year!

His eyes twitch with annoyance. What the hell is he doing? Reading a stupid card made by fucking Deku ond fucking valentine.

No one cares about Valentine's. He doesn't care about such a useless day.
Groaning, he crumbles the card in his hands, ready to explode the stupid red card.
Izukus stupid green eyes pop into his head, making him halt in his doing.

He really hates being a teenager.

Life was so much simpler when the only interest was heroes. Why does his heart flutter at the thought of Deku giving him a gift.. a stupid card on Valentine's like he has every year... why is it different now?!

Stupid teenager hormones!

Stupid crush!

Opening his clenched fist, he opens the card. He reads Izukus chicken handwriting. He really tried to write neatly, without success.

'Dear Kacchan! You are awesome! I know you won't read this... so I will be able to write what I feel without you ever knowing!'

Katsuki scoffs.

A smirk forms on his lips. Deku is really stupid. Stupid cute. No. Wait. He didn't think that!!!

'I'm really happy that we are friends again, Kacchan! I know you don't like calling me like this, but I appreciate how you really try!'

He cringes, reading the next line. Yeah, he is not really the best at making friends... Kirishima always tells him to work on his behavior... well, he tries... it's not easy...

'Anyway, I don't want to write too much... But I really like you, Kacchan... like really...'

Katsuki looks up, contemplating if he should punch the wall, explode the card, or scream and kick his legs like Mina does when she watches her favorite K-Pop Idols.

'So, since I know you will never reciprocate my feelings and never read this anyway...

□ MAYBE'

Katsuki freezes looking at the childish question with boxes.

The paper beneath his fingers starts to smoke. He throws the card back on his desk, holding his head in his hands. His hands are drenched in sweat.

Katsuki accidentally activates his quirk while having a teenage crush crisis. Some of his hair starts to burn, and the smell helps him to get out of his head.

Izuku. DEKU. He wants him to be his valentine?!?!?

"Of course! How could I be this blind?"

Katsuki gives himself a facepalm while laughing at himself.

"Of course the stalker nerd has a fucking crush on me! Why else would he be so desperate to get my attention?!"

Katsuki shakes his head. He is an asshole. He knows he was and still is an asshole.

Well, everyone starts somewhere at being a better person, right?

A little cocky he picks up the card and a pen. After 10 years of receiving cards, it's finally time to give an answer.

Izuku sits in the kitchen, eating a bowl of special edition All Might cinnamon cereal.
The door opens with a lout boom, making him drop his spoon and choke on the last bite.
Coughing he watches Katsuki enter the kitchen. He looks different than usual.

Which makes Izuku nervous and clough more. Katsuki not being like Katsuki is a red flag. Something happened?! Is someone controlling him? Shinsou?? Or is he in trouble? No. It's Katsuki, he wouldn't look this nervous if he were in trouble...

"Are you fucking fished? Or do you want to cough to death?!" Katsuki grows. Izuku waves his hands, still feeling the cereal in his throat.

"Shit, are you choking?" Katsukis eyes widen.
Izuju tries to talk, but more coughs and a wheez are all he can get out.

Katsuki throws something on the table and starts to help him. He gets behind him and starts the heimlich maneuver. After some pumps, he coughs out the cereal stuck in his throat. Katsuki still has his arms around the smaller, both panting after the emergency.

Izukus blood starts to rush to his cheeks, making him bright red.

"Thnaks..." He mumbles, feeling Katsukis breath in his neck. Katsuki nods and loosens his hold.

Izukus catches the red card in the table.

Katsuki runs to get a glass of water for the other.

Frozen Izuku knows that it is his card on the table. Katsuki had his card in his hand...
Scared he picks it up, opening the card with shivering hands.

'KACCHAN WILL YOU BE MY VALENTIN?
■ YES
□ NO
□ MAYBE'

Izuku chokes again on air.

Katsuki puts the glass down.

"The fuck is wrong with you?"

He slaps Izuku back, putting the water in front of him.

Thankfully, Izuku takes the water.

Katsuki rolls his eyes when he sees Izuku holding the card.

His quirck activates again while he was slapping his back.

A small explosion throws Izuku into the table.

"Kacchan?! What the hell?!" He screams, his back burning.

"Shit! Don't you die or I will kill you!" Katsuki shouts while taking the half full glass of water to put ot the little fire on Izuku's back.

"Is this for real?!" Izuju suddenly held up the card into Katsuki's face.

Katsuki gulps and nods.

"If you still want me..."

"I will always want you!" Izuku shouts, jumping into Katsuki’s arms hugging him close.

Not used to this, Katsuki puts his arms slowly around the other.

They hug each other, not noticing the others - Ochako and Mina - sitting at the same table. They saw everything, and Mina may or may not have filmed everything.
