Katsuki, mid 20s, has literally never dated a person in his life partly because of his bad attitude but also partly because nobody has met his stupidly high standards so his friends make a profile for him as a joke while drunk or something and then he gets a like right away and

then katsuki's heart drops out of his ass becuase that's DEKU, his estranged childhood friend/ bullying victim and HE'S CUTE NOW AND HE LIKED ME WHAT THE FUCK,,,, and seeing his reaction Mina or someone fucking swipes fucking right and then on the other side Deku goes into

cardiac arrest and wakes up his entire apartment complex screaming because KACCHAN from MIDDLE SCHOOL LIKED IHM BACK WHAT IF ITS A JOKE and types and re-types 'hey' for the next like 3 hours because what the hell is he supposed to say??? Meanwhile Katsuki is having a similar

experience becuase like what the fuck are you supposed to fucking say to your childhood friend/ punching bag?? So then they literally don't talk to each other for the next 19 hours until finally at 10:13PM Katsuki summons all the balls he has (2) and text's deku 'Deku' and then

throws his phone floor, reasoning that he'll just sleep and forget about it and if deku texts back then whatever, he'll be sleeping and who cares if stupid deku actually likes him or not,,, he could care less because he'll be asleep (he doesn't get any sleep) and wakes up in

the morning to a text sent at 10:14 saying, "kacchan" and his stomach does fucking acrobatics and then he says, "how are you" and deku sends about 7 neurotic stream of consciousness paragraphs about every moment of his day and katsuki calls him a nerd and it's like a seal has

broken, because like, okay this isn't that hard!! Talking to your childhood bestfriendbullypunchingbagidolnerd is pretty easy, actually, they're actually pretty interesting and have interesting jobs and make interesting jokes and have interesting life experiences and it gets to

the point that bkdk are so glued to their phones that their friends take notice and convince them to actually see each other and if that isn't the most terrifying thing they've ever heard!!! Like, talking is one thing,, but actually SEEING them and being PERCIEVED is like, one

million steps above texting and they lose several years of their lives worrying about seeing each other but decide on a coffee shop and they have a wonderful time and spend like 5 hours there in which Katsuki apologizes and Izuku says he forgave him years ago and they both agree

to be friends, because although they met through a dating app context, they don't need to put pressure on their newly formed friendship,, and they only liked each other's profiles because they wanted to recconnect!! platonically!! right??!? YEah, there's

totally no complicated romantic feelings in there whatsoever, nor is their any disappointment in just being friends, because their friendship, at the end of the day, is more than enough!!!
