katsuki crossed his arms, glaring at the back of the nerd's head as he tapped his leg impatiently.

he rolled his eyes when the nerd took his sweet time conversing with extras on his way to him.

his eyes twitches when izuku flashes him a stupid smile. they're rushing to the next class so the nerd simply cuts off his usual 'mutter praise' where he'd analyze katsuki's moves in detail.

it pisses him off.

he finds himself stomping his feet on his way back.

he ignored everyone in his way to the class. making it clear to everyone that he is indeed mad as hell.

when aizawa announced that he scored their last test right after, he grinded his teeth together as he wait.

"ah yaoyarozu, you placed first again ! amazing !"

it doesn't take long for katsuki's pencil to snap in half.

"im going to the toilet." he announces. luckily aizawa only waved him off despite the lacking manners.

he returned to the class with a sour face, glaring at sero when the boy tried to tease him for scoring the second highest mark.

his eyes clashes with izuku's right after but he diverted them just as fast. ignoring the fact that he knew the nerd was about to say something.

it goes on like that for the whole day. just him ignoring izuku, pretending like he doesn't exist until izuku approaches him after his spar with icy hot.

"great moves kacchan !"

katsuki paused, halting his attempts to escape.

"you upgraded AP shot ! that's so cool !

the shots are way more dense now, so it created more damage but it doesn't wildly destroy ! your aim is amazing too, you've been so precise with it-"

"i.." katsuki didn't even realize he had spoken, cutting izuku off and making his stupidly big eyes widen in shock.

"i did so fucking good on the test !" he blurted out, hating how desperate he sounded like.

izuku tilted his head slightly before he fully understood.

"yeah you did ! you passed iida and make it to second place ! that's amazing kacchan !"

suddenly, a wave of emotion hits him.

was it relief ? is he fulfilled ? why the hell is he feeling like this anyways ?

"i.. did well in joint training too.."

"of course you did ! i didnt get to tell you about your new combo move but i did take notes ! i watched the whole thing and everyone did great..

but i kept my eyes on you ! you really shines during the training because you lead the team so well and-"

"you kept your eyes..on me ?" katsuki's eyes had never been wider. he didn't realize how innocent he looked like, almost childish that it made izuku pause.

the nerd stares at him as if in awe, suddenly stuttering and being careful with his words.

"yeah..of course..i- i couldn't possibly take my eyes off kacchan"

katsuki wanted to say.

"yeah..?"

he wanted to say but he couldn't.

stupid izuku nodded quickly, mumbling about his moves again which..is kinda nice but not exactly what he wanted.

what exactly does he want ?

"cluster ! it was so pretty don't you think ? like sparkles !"

izuku is praising him like he's been waiting for the whole damn day, yet he found himself telling the nerd he's going to bed. without even waiting for an answer, he strides quickly.

"ehhh ?? isn't it too early for bed ? we haven't even had dinner !"

persistent as always, izuku chases after him.

"piss off im tired !"

"you should eat first though !"

"stop lecturing me !"

"im not !!!"

"fuck off !"

"thats bad, kacchan."

just like that, katsuki's whole world crumbled before him.

what the fuck ??? he's been so good !!! he did everything to try and be good ! he hated being bad !

he snapped his head back, staring at izuku in disbelief. his eyes were asking him to take it back.

"what did you just-"

"you're being bad kacchan."

katsuki's jaw dropped. this is the opposite of what he wanted ! he just wanted a praise goddammit, not judged !

"NO I-I AM GOOD !"

izuku seems to be taken aback by his sudden outburst, probably not expecting him to get /that/ worked up over it.

katsuki was about to just sprint out of there when he realized what he had done. now he looks stupidly desperate over something so silly-

"do you want to be good, kacchan ?" izuku tentatively asks as he took a careful step forward.

katsuki put his guard up as he tried and pretend to not get it.

"you're spouting nonsense-"

"kacchan is good, always."

yeah, screw trying to act tough, his knees immediately wobbled upon hearing izuku's steady voice. what the hell ?

"you'll be even better if you actually talk and listen to me kacchan"

"..dont tell me what to do"

"im not kacchan, i just..want to understand why kacchan suddenly got upset"

"hah ? im not."

"what the fuck izuku ??"

katsuki frowned, hating how affected he is. he doesn't get what's happening to him but he hates it ! why does he care so much to begin with ??

"can you tell me why.. you're kind of avoiding me ? it's not like i didn't notice, i just never wanted to pressure you."

katsuki resort to holding his tongue as he shakes his head to deny izuku's words. the more he speaks the more embarassing he'd become !

"aren't you a good boy kacchan ?"

like a dumbass, he accidentally nodded his head as quickly.

"i did upset you, didn't i ?"

giving up, katsuki nodded slowly before he huffed.

"what is it that i do ?"

"fuck you...just praise me ! stupid. don't go around calling me bad ! idiot. i hate you. fuck, this is embarassing-"

"im sorry"

katsuki glares when izuku reaches out to touch him.

he didn't push away though.

"im so sorry i- i didn't know ? i mean..who would've guess-"

"izuku."

"okay sorry ! im so sorry kacchan ! of course i will praise you, i always wanted to praise you. you're amazing and a good boy, always, all the time."

"..shut up"

"thank you for telling me, kacchan, tell me everything, please." izuku practically /begged/ with his big eyes, which katsuki couldn't find it in him to hate.

so katsuki did. he begrudgingly told izuku what he wanted to hear, though he himself couldn't figure it all out yet.

"i guess kacchan like praises huh.."

"shut up."

"you're so cute"

"fuck you."

"thats not very good boy kacchan"

"i-i'll kill you !!!"

explaining was a pain in the ass. atleast izuku looks genuinely curious, and happy, too happy even.

"are you..perhaps a sub kacc-"

"FUCK YOU"

katsuki indeed is..and this is indeed how the both of them found out.

well atleast the creep looks happy with it. he loves giving as much as katsuki loves receiving. it somehow works out..no surprises.
