She rested her cheek on her palm, staring absentmindedly at the woman standing in front of her who was spouting bullshit on ‘how her next day's will be happy’ She wanted to appear elegant for her /best day/ of her life but

it's getting too hard to pretend she's interested

‘How long do I have to listen to this’ she spoke under her breath as her eyes scanned the place full people drinking, chatting or having some kind of fun. Every one of them had blessed katsuki with something and she had endured

their bs the entire time

She tried to smile as the woman blessed katsuki with a golden bracelet but she already had those enough and would much rather enjoy a plate full of roasted ribs instead

“Kacchan!” The next person greeted, almost making her jump “oh apologies, my queen” Izuku Midoriya bowed as if referring to next queen with a made up nickname was not a criminal offense

“ What are you doing here”

katsuki stopped herself from saying few curse words here and there. All these training mustn't be forgotten at the comfort of a familiar face

Where everyone was celebrating the reunion of two nations, katsuki cannot stop thinking about how she did not wish to be married to an old man whose children were older than herself. She truly detested this with every cell of her body but couldn't selfishly say no

because it was for greater good. After all, she agreed to give her life for her country, this should only be a small compromise

“ You look so pretty today” Izuku brought her back to her present situation. He pulled a golden flower from his vest and

placed it on katsuki's palm, smiling sweetly “told you I would get you one next time we met”

Katsuki glanced down at the flower. Morning dew it was called because the colour of the flower resembled the golden rays of sun when it tickles the morning dew at the tip of grass blade

Previously it was fed to her when she got fetal injuries in war and katsuki asked to see what medicine saved her life and Izuku had promised to show it to her next time they mat

Katsuki didn't expect him to remember.

Actually she doesn't expect anything from a guy she had only known for two months amidst a bloody war. Even still Izuku and her had fought side by Side till the last moment, so she can't deny the respect, a sense of trust and closeness she has for him. This almost made her smile

“I wouldn't take much time of yours” Izuku whispered “you already look bored”

Good because that's exactly what katsuki needs.She scanned the crowd for people of Enji’s kingdom, looking for potential candidates that is not old,isn't a pervert,knows how to fight and hopefully kind and treat her ok

Katsuki stared at Izuku in awe. Not only did she find someone kind and handsome, she also found someone who would lick her feet and worship her like a goddess on earth.

She had won, big time

Katsuki still kept the gun at Izuku’s throat but removed her finger from the trigger. With a big soft smile, tear glistening on her eyes, she whispered “ I do”

Needless to say when the painter painted the picture of the wedding, a happy Mitsuki and Masaru was clapping at the corner, a wild shoto who was throwing gold coin at the bride and groom, a frustrated endeavour Enji trying to stop his son, and literally everyone else

including the priest looks madly uncomfortable at the bride kissing the groom who wore suit that was 3 times larger than him and a gun pressed against his throat
