What will all that website traffic do for you?

Three things - Conversions, customers, and money.

Getting traffic is HARD. Converting is EASY.

Once you know how to get traffic

- Convert it into an email list

- Get new customers for your SaaS tool

- Earn revenue from affiliate marketing etc etc

No limits to what you can achieve with the right SEO strategy.

1. SEO Strategy

SEO has lots of moving parts. But focusing on the 20% will get you 80% of the results.

The three most important parts are

→ SEO Title - For clickthrough

→ Keywords - To rank on search engine

→ Backlinks - To build authority and rank higher

• The SEO title isn't your H1 title.

It's the title that appears in SERPS.

Here's how it looks in the backend

• Write a good title

A good title has numbers, nouns, goals, pain points, solutions, and even reasons.

• There are mainly three kinds of keywords

TOFU - To get more views
MOFU - To help them trust
BOFU - To help get sales

Focus on TOFU to get more traffic first.

• Also focus on long-tail keywords

When starting a new website, focus on long-tail SEO to rank higher at a lower cost.

These keywords have lower competition for ranking.

• Build backlinks through the skyscraper technique

Find quality content your competitors are ranking for.

Then create a better piece of content.

You'll rank higher.

• Articles strategy: Create 10 to 15 articles a week.

50% of these be new articles. And 50% will be content refreshes - updating old articles, repurposing to new blogs, etc.

• Also getting website visits isn't just about creating blogs and pushing SEO content.

It's also about creating short-form content, lead magnets, email marketing, and paid ads to convert more traffic.

• If you want to drive EXTRA top-of-funnel traffic

- Create 1-2 Tiktoks, reels, tweets, and LinkedIn posts every day

Social media is your best method of getting organic traffic.

A viral TikTok will get you thousands of views in just a day.

2. Use SEO tools

There are many tools available out there.

Some top ones you can use 👇

3. Programmatic SEO & AI

Programmatic SEO is creating BOFU and MOFU content at scale by using data points, and workflows.

This is a growth hack to potentially create 100s of pages in one go.

I'm gonna take an example of automation tools to explain this step-by-step.

i. Find keywords that become templates

For example, you want to create comparison pages.

The keyword would be [alternative tool] vs [your tool].

You can create 100+ pages from this single keyword combination.

Find permutations and combinations of new pages too.

- Dividing pages by competitors

- New pages comparing each feature

- New pages for multiple languages

- A page giving an in-depth comparison

Think about how you can maximize page count from the same content.

ii. Create a design template that you will use on all the pages

For a comparison page, compile all the factors you are going to talk about on all the pages.

Do this for every new page you've decided to create.

This'll make your job easy and help you scale content.

iii. Collect data and create unique data for each of these pages

Zapier has 10+ pages on their comparison.

Their template is similar for all & data points are common.

All they had to do was create a unique page for each and put in the unique data points.

Pro tip: Use OpenAI API to create unique content. It'll help reduce your content creation workload by 50%!

Feed it the data from the competitors and it'll create comparison tables for you.

iv. Use these websites to get content created for 5-15 cents a word.

AI is cool but it doesn't have the human touch. Many of the writers on these platforms will be off-shore so those prices are actually a good deal for them.

v. Hire a human editor to get through the last mile.

AI + freelance writers can only draft content for you.

An editor has to come to it and make this content high quality

In summary

1. Focus on the 20% SEO that gets 80% of the results

2. Go for long tail + top-of-funnel keywords for mass traffic

3. Use programmatic SEO and AI to boost rankings
