disheveled, running away whenever jk tries to talk to him. until that one time when jm falls right on top of jk, his soda and his ice cream in a park, getting the stuff all over himself.
he sits there on the ground after the fall, trying to shake the sticky residue from

his wings, muttering curses under his breath (yes, angels curse too).

"hello?" jk asks, getting to his feet. "are you okay?"

jm looks at him with wide blue eyes, frozen like a deer caught in the headlights. then he squeaks.

"you're not supposed to see me!"

he tries to take off, but his feathers are all stuck together with ice cream and he lands flat on his face.

"ouch."

jk rushes to help him up and after quite some convincing, jm agrees to follow him home to get his wings cleaned.

while they sit on jk's bathroom floor and jk wipes the soft feathers clean one by one, they start talking.

"you?! a guardian angel? with how clumsy you are? who is the poor person you're guarding?"

jm pouts around the strawberry lollipop jk gave him earlier.

"considering you're still alive, i've been doing a damn good job. you're not easy! with all those dangerous sports you keep getting into."

jk blinks. "it's me?"

jm sniffs and lifts his chin. "no returns, no refunds. sorry."

"i'm sorry, i didn’t mean it!"

jk convinces jm to stay over and he orders pizza for him as an apology, but soon finds out that angels like sweets a lot more than actual food. so he keeps buying jm more lollipops and jm keeps coming over to eat them ☺️ 💕
