“You have the choice, prince,” Jungkook's eyes gleam, the light from the kukri reflecting on his eyes while it stays pressed against Taehyung's neck.

Taehyung's eyes move from the kukri to Jungkook, “w-what do you want?”

“You know who I am, don't you?” Jungkook smirks, “the prince of the Kim kingdom knows Jeon.”

Taehyung's eyes widen when he realizes he is standing in front of the assassin whose head's worth is ten thousand gold coins in many kingdoms, along with theirs, “J-Jeon?”

Jungkook nods, chuckles, “I need you to do something for me, prince,” his kukri presses harder against Taehyung's throat, “I need you to go to your father dearest and say you love me. Tell him you want to marry me.”

Taehyung's eyes widen, “what?!”

Jungkook nods, “don't worry, prince. I will leave after a few months, and you will never have to see me. But until then, I need to hide somewhere, and who can secure my safety but a kingdom as strong as yours?”

Taehyung gulps, “father would never agree-”

Jungkook's eyes bore into his while the blade presses harder against Taehyung's throat, “see, prince, you either get your father to agree. Or,” the assassin's lips curve onto a cruel smirk, “I do my job and by tomorrow morning you have no king or family to run the kingdom.”

"This was your plan?!" Jimin hisses, fear swirling in his eyes, "you got married to an assasin by lying to your father and telling him he is just a peasant from the village. An orphan? What will you do when he leaves? Or does something? Don't you think you should tell the king-"

"No," Taehyung grasps his cousin's hands in his, "no. Please, no. He might do something. That is the sole reason we can't tell anyone."

Jimin glares at him, "I will tell my husband. He will-"

"You will not!" Taehyung tugs Jimin to sit on the bed, "hyung can't know about this!"

"So what now?" Jimin flails his hands, "what? You will pretend to be in love with an assasin? Share a room with him? I will be in my kingdom, worried sick that something might happen to you!"

Taehyung sighs, "when are you going back?"

Jimin glares, "do not change the topic!"

"What was I supposed to do?!" Taehyung throws his hands up, "I am not sure what I should have done-"

Jimin sighs, "you could have told me. Yoongi would help. We could-"

Taehyung shakes his head, "I don't want to risk hyung's life. I don't want any harm on any one of us."

They both startle whe the young king walks in. His eyes on Jimin and then on Taehyung.

"I was looking for you," Yoongi closes the door behind himself, "tae, I did not get the chance to meet your husband properly during the ceremony. Can we meet now?"

Taehyung gulps, points at the chair, "hyung, you sit down. I will get him."

Yoongi nods, goes to sit on the chair, looking around, "you redecorated this room, I see."

Taehyung smiles, "after Jimin left, I had a lot of space."

Yoongi smiles, "I see."

When Taehyung leaves the room, the king's eyes find Jimin, "he does not know I used to visit you here?"

Jimin's cheeks bloom with colour, he glares, "he will never! Promise me, my king!"

Yoongi's lips curve on a smirk, "is that so?"

Jimin sighs, "my king! Promise me!"

Yoongi laughs, "I promise, my blossom. No one would know that we were lovers before I sent your father the wedding proposal. Happy?"

Jimin looks away, eyes on the door when it opens. Taehyung walks in with Jungkook closely followig behind.

Jungkook's eyes skim over the people in the room before he settles on Yoongi.

Yoongi eyes him as the assasin walks inside, closes the door.

Taehyung points at Jungkook, "this is my-"

"Jeon," Yoongi sighs, "how did you end up in this plan?"

Jungkook snorts, "I had to."

"So how long before you will be able to kill him?" Yoongi leans back against the chair, eyes on the man, "I did not give you the money for you to loiter around."

Jungkook sighs, "hyung, it takes time. Okay? He is always surrounded by guards. I need some time to plan it."

Jimin frowns, "who, who are you trying to kill?"

Yoongi's calm eyes shift on his husband, a small cuve on those lips look dangerous as Yoongi chuckles, "your father."

Jungkook snorts, "I got paid by him to kill the king so he can take over the kingdom."

Yoongi crosses his one legs, "has been planning this for years now," he sighs, rolls his eyes, "got you to notice me. Planned how to get closer to you," Yoongi's eyes skim over Jimin, "married you so I get as close to this kingdom as I can. Made sure Taehyug stays unmarried."

"Taehyung is not skilled enough to run a kingdom," Yoongi's fingers tap over the armrest of the chair, a lazy smirk on his lips, "when your father dies, I will take this kingdom over as your husband and then I can get rid of all of you."

Jungkook comes to lean against Yoongi's chair, a playful smile on his lips, "by the way, I am his cousin. Prince Jungkook. An assassin, his right hand man."

Yoongi nods with a smile, "I had to keep him away from the kingdom for this one year of our marriage. Sorry, brother."

"You are not serious!" Jimin shakes his head, eyes tearing up, "You are not serious. We," he gulps, clutches his chest, "we are seeing each other for almost a year before we got married."

Yoongi snorts, "this plan was born four years ago. We took our sweet time to plan this."

"What do you mean by getting rid of us, he is your husband," Taehyung grips Jimin's wrist, feels the way his throat goes dry when Yoongi waves him off.

Yoongi lets out a sigh, "I will be sad to announce he was teken so young but I can't keep any one of you alive. Can I?"

Jimin's voice shake, "We," he steps forward with urgency to grasp Yoongi's hanbok, "we shared everything for a year now!"

Yoongi makes a grunting noise before he holds Jimin's wrists and shoves him away, "absolutely. One year of pretense. I was getting bored. It is time."

Yoongi gets up from the chair, looks at Jungkook, "stay here. Taehyung lied about you, so now he cannot say a word. You will find a way. Yes?"

Jungkook nods, "I never missed, hyung. You know."

Yoongi nods back, "Of course. I will keep in touch."

Yoongi turns to face Jimin, "we will be here for a month because of the grand wedding celebration. Do not worry," he squeezes Jimin's shoulder, "you will never return to my kingdom ever again."

Jimin and Taehyung watch Yoongi walk out of the room.

Jungkook sighs, "this kingdom belonged to us, you know?" he sits down on that empty chair, "your great-grandfather promised to marry one of the princesses from our family and after the wedding, he killed her. Announcing this an independent kingdom. We are just taking it back."

"I will not let you!" Taehyung steps forward, hides Jimin behind him, "I will do whatever it takes to-"

Jungkook eyes the prince with a soft smile, "I will not even entertain a cub like you with an answer."

With ease, Jungkook gets out of the chair and the room.

Jungkook watches Yoongi and Namjoon practice sword fight.

Hoseok is throwing arrows with utter concentration.

"You should have stayed behind the curtain," Jungkook sighs, "you just let it all out. Now the princes know."

Yoongi pauses, looks at Jungkook, "what?"

Jungkook nods, "Jimin and Taehyung now know," he makes a face, "we could have-"

"I have all the information I need from Jimin," Yoongi shrugs, squares up for Namjoon to start the practice, "we don't need their help anymore."

Jungkook stares, "what if they tell someone?"

Hoseok snorts, "we will handle that. All you have to do is get rid of the king."

Jungkook nods, bites the inside of his cheek, "there is a celebration for his birthday. Next week."

Yoongi snorts, "we can get rid of him then."

Namjoon hums, "I will take down general Kim."
