Yoongi nervously shifts his feet as he waits outside the dance studio. Hoseok did tell him to watch his practice since they’re allowing visitors today to get some feedback.
19
Hoseok said that Yoongi doesn’t have to say anything because he’s happy with just having Yoongi’s support there. And well, Yoongi does want to see Hoseok dance.
20
He’s been dancing ever since they were kids and Yoongi wants to be there to give Hoseok praises before their big performance.

“Yoongi!” Hoseok exclaims as soon as he opens the door, grinning widely before pulling Yoongi into a hug.
21
Yoongi returns the hug, smiling gently and patting Hoseok gently on the back. “Come inside! Why were you waiting outside? Everyone else is here.” Hoseok pulls Yoongi inside, shutting the door behind them.
22
And he’s right. It’s pretty crowded inside the studio. Yoongi couldn’t recognize anyone else other than Park Jimin who is Hoseok’s closest friend in the dance group. Jimin gives him a charming smile which he returns as bright as he possibly can.
23
“Are you starting soon? I have a class in an hour,” Yoongi says, to which Hoseok nods excitedly in response.

“Oh yeah. We’d start soon. You can stay at the side and watch. It’s pretty crowded today. I didn’t know so many people are coming today.
24
We’re getting popular, huh?” he asks cheekily, and Yoongi just laughs at Hoseok’s silliness. He never fails to make Yoongi smile. They might seem like they’re polar opposites but they actually complement each other pretty well.
25
“Okay then. Go and dance as much as you want. I’ll be here watching.”

Hoseok beams brightly at him, and Yoongi swears he could feel his eyes get blinded by how bright Hoseok looks like. Okay, it might be an exaggeration but Hoseok really is the epitome of light.
26
Yoongi watches as Hoseok finds his way back to the center of the room to talk to Jimin, probably about the dance starting soon. Jimin grins back and Yoongi just chuckles as he realizes just why Hoseok and Jimin are so close. They really emit the same aura.
27
Jimin runs off the side of the room, opposite Yoongi’s position, to say something to his friend who probably also came to watch their practice. The man seems familiar. Maybe he’s someone famous that Yoongi had seen a lot of times in the campus.
28
It wouldn’t be surprising at all since Jimin is pretty famous too.

Jimin laughs and playfully punches his friend before running off to Hoseok again. And at that moment, Jimin’s friend turns to meet Yoongi’s gaze, making Yoongi freeze in his position.
29
There’s something in that gaze that makes Yoongi want to melt. Isn’t his gaze too strong? Who the hell has those kinds of eyes? They look so intimidating and Yoongi couldn’t break the gaze because it just feels like it would be so wrong to do so.
30
The man smirks at him, his eyelid dropping down into a wink and making Yoongi completely flustered before he finally tears his gaze away.

What’s his deal? Isn’t he popular? Why is he going around winking at random guys like Yoongi?

“I’ve done a lot of research about the history of music and it’s pretty complex, isn’t it? Here, I took down some notes and I thought I should show you,” Namjoon says as he pushes his notebook towards Yoongi’s side of the table,
40
already turned to the page which contains Namjoon’s handwriting. It’s pretty long. He must’ve worked so hard on this.

“I have some notes too but it’s on my laptop. Would you mind if I send it to you through email instead?” Yoongi asks, eyes meeting Namjoon’s.
41
Namjoon gives him a dimpled smile and a nod. “I don't mind at all. I’ll text you with my email later so you can send me the file.”

Yoongi is so thankful that he has Namjoon as a partner for this project.
42
Not only is Namjoon very smart – he’s also the closest friend Yoongi has among all music majors. A lot of them are usually introverts like Yoongi who likes to keep to themselves (and Yoongi isn’t one to make the first move to approach anyone and ask them to be friends),
43
and the others are people who think they’re so artistic and so much better than everyone else (and Yoongi can’t tolerate them either). Namjoon is perfectly normal. He loves music and he works hard to prove himself.
44
Yoongi feels comfortable being with him, so it’s definitely a good thing that they partnered up for this.

“Well, we have a lot of time left. Our report is due next month but I just wanted to check on our progress so far.
45
Sorry for asking you to meet up like this,” Namjoon says with a small chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck and seemingly embarrassed.

“it’s okay,” Yoongi responds, giving Namjoon a warm smile. “I don’t mind. I like talking about music.”
46
“You really love music, don’t you? I didn’t know I would ever meet someone who spends so much time and energy on music even more than I do. And Jungkook calls me a music freak.”
47
“I’d take music freak as a compliment.” Yoongi laughs, making Namjoon agree with his statement as well.

Namjoon opens his mouth to say something else, and Yoongi excitedly waits as well. Namjoon tends to say the most interesting things that makes Yoongi think.
48
But before Namjoon could even let out another word, they were both interrupted by a sudden presence making itself known by slumping down on the seat next to Namjoon uninvited. They both stare at the man, eyes wide and very much surprised.
49
“Hyung, I’m so bored. I can’t find anyone interesting. Can you find someone for me? You have a lot of friends, right?” the man asks, and Yoongi furrows his eyebrows in confusion. Is the man talking to him?
50
Well, he does seem younger (although very muscular – which is perfectly obvious despite the lack of skin showing from the coat he’s wearing), so it makes sense that he would call any of them hyung. Yoongi doesn’t remember ever meeting the man before though.
51
“Jungkook,” Namjoon groans, and with the tone he used while saying that word, Yoongi just knows that he’s mentally face-palming right now. “What are you doing here? I told you I have an important project to do."
52
The man, Jungkook, pouts and glares at Namjoon, almost looking betrayed. “Is that how you treat your one and only best friend?”

“Go attend your classes. I’ll talk to you later and you can complain all you want.”
53
Jungkook rolls his eyes, gaze then shifting to Yoongi who’s just glancing at the two with confusion and awkwardness. As soon as their gazes meet, Jungkook’s eyes flicker with interest. “Oh,” he says, lips curling up into a smile.
54
“Who do we have here?” he leans closer to the table, supporting his chin with his palm, elbow resting on the table.

“Oh, I’m, uh, I’m Yoongi,” he awkwardly introduces himself.

Jungkook doesn’t seem bothered though.
55
Instead, his grin widens even more, eyes burning with something akin to interest. He stretches his free hand towards Yoongi. “Jungkook. Remember my name, yeah? You’d need that for later.”
56
Namjoon groans from beside Jungkook, but Yoongi just takes the man’s offered hand, shaking it gently. It’s just an introduction. Why is Namjoon so worried? “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Jungkook.”
57
Jungkook’s tongue briefly darts out to lick his lips, eyes shining with amusement which Yoongi couldn’t understand. Is there something amusing with introductions that Yoongi knows nothing about? “The pleasure is all mine.”
58
“Jungkook,” Namjoon calls, interrupting their heated gazes (Yoongi seems to be having intense staring sessions with random people these days). Jungkook smiles gently at Yoongi before taking his hand back and turning to face Namjoon. “No,” Namjoon briefly says.
59
“I’m not even doing anything yet.” Jungkook chuckles, the word ‘yet’ lingering in Yoongi’s head. What is that even supposed to mean? Does he have any errand to attend to?
60
“Okay, then can you leave for now? We have a project to talk about and you’re being an annoying brat,” Namjoon grumbles, to which Jungkook just giggles as a response.
61
“Okay! I’ll leave for now then. I’ve found a solution to my problem anyway,” he excitedly says as he stands up from his seat. Namjoon shakes his head as if he’s instantly regretting something that Yoongi’s not aware of. These two seem to have a lot of inside jokes.
62
But before Jungkook leaves, he turns to Yoongi first to hold his gaze again. “I’ll see you soon, I hope.” And just like that, Jungkook turns to leave, hands shoved into his pockets and grinning from ear to ear as if he has just accomplished something to be proud of.
63
Yoongi just stares at him, completely lost. What the hell just happened?

Yoongi rushes towards his class, chest heaving with too much physical activity for the day. It’s so early in the morning and he’s already running as if he’s in a damn marathon.
83
He hasn’t worked out enough for this (he doesn’t work out at all but no one needs to know that). He clutches the messy pile of papers close to his chest, trying his best not to drop them on the ground because it would be even more of a hassle if they end up scattered around.
84
His entire project is written there! That’s his entire future!

He sees the building in front of him and sighs in relief as he looks at his watch, seeing that he still has a few minutes left before class starts. He wasn’t so late after all.
85
And well, he found out that he’s a very fast runner too.

He slows down his pace, allowing himself to start breathing properly so he wouldn’t look like a mess in front of his classmates.
86
He climbs up the stairs while cursing every single person who made this building (because do they know how hard it is to climb up the stairs? Yoongi is suffering!).
87
He reaches the floor of his assigned classroom, letting out another sigh of relief as he notices that his classmates are still lingering outside and joking amongst themselves. The professor didn’t get there early and Yoongi isn’t in trouble.
88
“Yoongi,” a voice calls, forcing Yoongi to snap out of his dazed state. He turns his head to the side only to see Jungkook casually leaning against the wall next to his classroom.

Wait.

Jungkook isn’t a music major.
89
Yoongi blinks. “What are you doing here? Don’t you have a class to attend?”

Jungkook grins, straightening up and walking closer towards Yoongi. “I don’t have morning classes. I just went to walk Namjoon-hyung here because he was carrying a lot of things,
90
and well, I’m pretty strong.”

Yoongi’s eyes subconsciously went down to gaze at Jungkook’s muscles straining his clothes, before blushing furiously at the sight and snapping his gaze back to Jungkook’s face instead.
91
“Oh, uh, that’s pretty nice of you. I’ll go inside now. It’s nice to see you, Jungkook-ah.”

Yoongi walks towards the door but he was stopped by a gentle grip on his arm, making him turn back to Jungkook once again. “Is there something you need?”
92
Jungkook looks amused by that question, lips quirking up into a smile. “Well, yeah. A lot of things.” Well, he seems pretty demanding for a second year. “But I’ll settle for one right now. Do you want to go out with me later? Have a drink with me or something?”
93
The younger man looks confident. Too confident that Yoongi would say yes. It makes Yoongi feel a little guilty to deny his offer but he has to. He’d be pretty busy later because of too much requirements piling up,
94
and no matter how much he wants to spend some quality time with friends, his time wouldn’t allow him to do so. He really can’t postpone his works to a later date anymore. “I’m sorry, Jungkook. I’d be busy later. I have a lot of work to do.”
95
Yoongi could see the exact time Jungkook’s expressions fell, his former bright aura being replaced by disappointment. “I really wanted to hang out with you. I was so excited to see you today,” Jungkook says, a prominent pout forming on his lips.
96
Yoongi feels guilt grip his heart tightly. He’s just starting to make new friends and he’s already failing. He just wants to be closer to other people. “I’ll message you later. We can talk then, okay? D-don’t look at me like that.
97
You look like you just got rejected and people are looking at us weirdly.”

And truthfully enough, the other music students are stealing glances at them and whispering amongst themselves.
98
They probably find it weird that Yoongi is talking so familiarly to someone else other than Hoseok and Namjoon. He’s not really known to be the most sociable person in the class. Besides, Jungkook seems pretty famous too. They must know him well.
99
“You’ll talk to me a lot later?” Jungkook asks softly, eyes burning into Yoongi’s as his touch still lingers on Yoongi’s skin. For some reason, this mere act seems so intimate to the point where Yoongi feels like he would melt right on the spot if this continues.
100
“Yeah,” Yoongi answers, letting out a small laugh. “Here. I’ll give you my number so you can stop looking like at me like I betrayed you or something.”

Jungkook’s eyes immediately lights up, a grin forming on his face and looking like he just had another accomplishment.
101
He’s pretty persistent, isn’t he? Yoongi doesn’t remember anyone ever being so clingy to him before other than Hoseok. They exchange phones, and Yoongi rushes to type in his number so he could enter his class already.
102
He really enjoys Jungkook’s company so far but the professor might be here soon.

“There, you can text me later.” Yoongi hands him back his phone and Jungkook did the same.
103
Yoongi looks at his screen showing Jungkook’s contact details, and flushes red when he notices that Jungkook placed a heart on his own name. Who the hell does that? Is he flirting with Yoongi or something?
104
Or is it normal to add heart emojis to other guys’ names and Yoongi just wasn’t aware of it? Well, Hoseok does use an excessive amount of hearts in conversations. It kind of makes sense.
105
“Okay then. I would definitely text you later,” Jungkook says, walking forward and making Yoongi freeze on his position. Why is Jungkook getting closer? It also doesn’t help that this man is too damn attractive for his own good. Who the hell looks this attractive up close?
106
Isn’t everyone supposed to be uglier the closer you look at them? It’s weird. It feels so weird. Yoongi has to stop engaging with handsome men or his heart wouldn’t be able to survive. Jungkook reaches up, fingers carding through Yoongi’s hair gently.
107
Yoongi freezes, not knowing what to do when Jungkook is at such a close proximity. He could faintly smell Jungkook’s scent, and he just wants to close his eyes and lean in to bask in the wonderful smell. He does appreciate sweet scents a lot.
108
“You’ve got something on your hair,” Jungkook’s velvety voice surrounds Yoongi, making him feel a little light-headed. “There, it’s all good now.” Jungkook chuckles lightly before finally taking one step away from Yoongi.

And finally, Yoongi could breathe easier.
109
What the hell was that? Isn’t Jungkook’s presence too overpowering?

“Oh, uh, thanks,” he manages to blurt out despite still feeling a little too flustered.

Jungkook gives him a gentle smile, full of charm and a hint of amusement.
110
“You look cute when you’re embarrassed. I like that.”

Yoongi flushes even more, fingers tightly clutching the papers he’s been holding all this time. He wouldn’t be surprised if they’re all crumpled by now.
111
“Mr. Min,” a voice from behind calls, not allowing Yoongi to even utter another response to Jungkook.

It’s the sound of his professor’s voice.

Yoongi’s eyes widen, but Jungkook looks too calm in front of him. He looks like he’s even enjoying what’s happening.
112
Yoongi slowly turns around to face his professor who’s lingering by the door. “Sir?” he asks, voice small.

The professor sighs, eyes darting to Jungkook before returning to Yoongi.
113
“If you’re done talking to your boyfriend, then maybe you should come inside now because class is starting soon. You too, Mr. Jeon. Don’t visit Yoongi too much when he’s in class.”

Yoongi gulps nervously. “Sir, you’ve got it all wrong. We’re not-”
114
“Of course, sir. I’m sorry for that. I just wanted to see his face before attending my own classes,” Jungkook replies cheekily, cutting Yoongi off.
115
“I’ll talk to you later, Yoongi. Text me, okay?” Jungkook says, throwing Yoongi a smirk before finally walking away, looking completely satisfied with himself.

“I didn’t expect you to be involved with someone like Mr. Jeon, but I guess life is really full of surprises.”
116
The professor sighs before finally walking inside, and Yoongi didn’t even have the time to think about what the old man said because he’s too busy hurrying inside the room and settling down on an empty seat.

It’s not that Yoongi expected his time at the library to be perfectly peaceful of anything. A lot of people come to the library after all. Some are studying like what Yoongi plans to do, and some are just whispering secrets among themselves
142
as if the library is an official meeting place for friends or something. Not that it bothers Yoongi. He uses the library because it’s quieter compared to studying outside, and there’s a table and a seat he can use, plus, books to browse on when he needs to look for references.
143
The library is very convenient for him so it’s okay if it’s not particularly quiet.

But this is very different from the usual.

Jungkook and Taehyung took it upon themselves to occupy the seats next to Yoongi, leaving him sandwiched in the middle.
144
And while Yoongi does enjoy company sometimes, with someone’s mere presence giving him some comfort, he really can’t find comfort with the tension between them right now. He’s been stuck in the page of the book in front of him for a few minutes already,
145
not comprehending a single statement because he could practically taste the tension in the air. Taehyung and Jungkook are glaring at each other, and Yoongi is really just waiting for one of them to break the gaze. It’s very uncomfortable.
146
He knew that there’s some sort of bad blood between them, but he didn’t know that it’s to this extent.

“Uh, is everything okay?” he asks, finally closing the book and letting it rest on the table, giving up on studying at this point.
147
There’s no way he could do anything with these two seemingly plotting murders inside their heads.

“If Jungkook-ssi would leave us alone then it would be perfect, hyung,” Taehyung finally speaks, and Yoongi didn’t miss his biting tone.
148
“Why don’t you leave instead? I’m sure hyung would love my presence more. Right, hyung?” Jungkook says, voice velvety and teasing as if he’s completely unbothered, when his expressions say otherwise.
149
“He prefers my company. Stop being delusional, Jeon. You’re embarrassing yourself.” Taehyung huffs, raising an eyebrow and riling Jungkook up even more.

“Stop it. I don’t prefer anyone’s company or anything.” Yoongi sighs, throwing the two of them a tired look.
150
“I’m trying to study and you two are distracting me.”

Jungkook’s formerly tense expression slowly softens as he turns his eyes to Yoongi, a small smirk forming on his lips. “Are my looks too distracting? I did try to look better today-”
151
“I’ve always been told that my looks would get me far in acting. I’m glad you think I’m that attractive,” Taehyung cuts Jungkook off, and that leads to Jungkook glaring at Taehyung again, probably feeling disrespected.
152
Yoongi sighs, slumping on his chair. The two are glaring at each other again and Yoongi feels like he’s surrounded by kids. He could see the other students in the library giving them scandalized glances, and Yoongi just wants the ground to swallow him whole.
153
It was so fun talking to these two individually, but this tension when they’re together is really something else. They look like they want to bite each other’s heads off.
154
“Get out, Kim. I want to spend time with Yoongi-hyung,” Jungkook snaps, sounding almost childish with his demand.

“Why don’t /you/ get out so I can spend time with hyung? You’re being a nuisance, Jeon.”

Yoongi screams internally. It doesn’t seem like it’ll end anytime soon.

Yoongi expected Jungkook to be planning something weird and unexpected with how desperate he was in asking Yoongi to hang out, but his worries dissipate as soon as Jungkook drags him towards street, ranting excitedly about how he has the perfect place to take photos on.
174
Yoongi, although a little confused, decides to follow Jungkook anyway.

They arrive at the park, strangely empty when Yoongi had expected it to be crowded. "Here, I bet you would look so good in the photos!" Jungkook excitedly exclaims,
175
eyes shining with so much adoration that Yoongi couldn't find it in himself to deny.

"Jungkook-ah, I'm not really good with pictures." Yoongi awkwardly laughs, lightly scratching the back of his head and struggling to make eye contact.
176
Jungkook's gaze is just too much for him for some unknown reason.

"You look so amazing in photos though. The first time I saw your photo, I knew that I had to take some of my own. But if you feel uncomfortable, then it's fine too, hyung. We can just eat together."
177
Jungkook grins, still looking a little too bright despite Yoongi's initial expectation that the younger man would definitely pout and complain again.

Yoongi chuckles, finally relaxing after the confirmation that he's not really obliged to go with Jungkook's plans.
178
But this just urges him to continue. It wouldn't be that bad, right? He'd be helping Jungkook practice his photography skills and it wouldn't be a bad idea to have some photos taken as well.
179
“What are you waiting for? Let’s take photos so you can practice. Where do you want me to stand?” he asks, raising an eyebrow at the younger man as if to ask him why he still isn’t getting to work.
180
Jungkook practically beams, and Yoongi could see the imaginary puppy tail wagging behind Jungkook. That’s just how he looks like right now. It’s absolutely adorable. And isn’t a puppy such a harmless description for someone as intimidating as Jeon Jungkook?
181
And so Jungkook starts working, moving Yoongi gently to certain places along the park and making him show a specific look on his face just like a pretty doll. It's a little embarrassing but Jungkook is amazing, Yoongi concludes.
182
He’s definitely a professional. He knows just what the right words to say are, managing to get the perfect reactions out of Yoongi just before he takes a shot. He’s playful, smart, and very admirable. Jungkook with a camera just seems so different from the Jungkook without one.
183
And Yoongi doesn’t know which one he prefers as of yet.

Yoongi jokes around a few times, making funny faces just before the sound of the shutter, and making Jungkook laugh as well.
184
Jungkook looks too innocent with a huge smile on his face, with his front teeth a little too prominent compared to the others.

“Was it good? Do you need to take some more?” Yoongi asks as he walks towards Jungkook who is busy browsing through the photos he had taken so far.
185
He has a silly grin on his face so Yoongi could only assume that it turned out okay. “What? Why are you smiling? What are you looking at?” he asks suspiciously, looking at the picture Jungkook seems to find absolutely amusing.
186
And there on the screen, he sees an extremely zoomed photo of his face from the time he was trying to be funny, and Yoongi gasps at how ridiculous he looks like. “Why are you zooming so much? Delete that now!”

Yoongi complains, looking at Jungkook with betrayal shown on his face, rushing forward to snatch the camera out of Jungkook’s hands.

But before he could even take hold of the camera, Jungkook is already running away and laughing like a maniac. Or more like giggling, really.
188
Yoongi glares at him before running off to follow him, trying to catch him all over the wide park, which proves to be impossible as Jungkook doesn’t seem to run out of energy while Yoongi could already feel his lungs burning from too much physical activity.
189
“Ah hyung, you’re tired already?” Jungkook mocks him, finally stopping and just opting to staring at Yoongi’s tired state.

Yoongi takes this as a chance to charge forward, deciding to attack at Jungkook’s moment of weakness.
190
But Jungkook seems to always be one step forward because as soon as Yoongi charges onto him, he stretches his arm up, holding the camera a little, /very little/, higher than what Yoongi could reach.
191
Yoongi scrunches his face with determination and stretches his arms as far as they could go, but to no avail. Jungkook is just laughing at him, keeping his free hand on Yoongi’s shoulder to stop him from tip-toeing.
192
Yoongi is pretty sure that they look absolutely ridiculous to anyone who would pass by the park right now.

“Fine, be like that,” Yoongi mutters, finally stopping his fight by leaving one last playful punch on Jungkook’s hard chest.
193
“Oh, come on. Don’t be mad at me. You were so cute there and I didn’t want you to delete it!” he tries to reason out as if that would make Yoongi feel reassured.

“You were laughing at my photo!” Yoongi argues, giving Jungkook a pointed look,
194
accompanied by a prominent pout that always seems to show on his face when he’s serious.

“I was laughing because you looked so adorable!” Jungkook argues back, to which Yoongi just continue to glare at him as a response.
195
“Oh, come on. I won’t show it to anyone.” Yoongi is still glaring. “I’ll treat you to a meal.” Still a glare and a pout. “And strawberry shortcake and coffee. Namjoon-hyung said you love those a lot.”
196
At that last offer, the glare completely disappears from Yoongi’s face, soon replaced by an amazed look. It’s almost like he just heard that Jungkook would give him a billion won or something. He can’t possibly be /that/ excited over something as simple as coffee and cake, right?
197
“Coffee and cake?” he asks, voice sounding so hopeful and so much different from how his complaints sounded like earlier. He almost looks like a different person, and Jungkook just wants to coo at how adorable he looks like right now.
198
He wants to reach forward and pinch one of Yoongi’s plump cheeks which are basically asking to be pinched, to be honest, but he holds himself back because he doesn’t want Yoongi to think that he’s a creep or something.
199
“Yeah. As long as I get to keep those photos.”

“Okay,” Yoongi answers with a grin, not even giving himself the time to contemplate. “Let’s go get that coffee, Jungkookie. I want coffee. And cake.”
200
Yoongi strides away excitedly, and Jungkook swears he could see Yoongi skip on his steps every once in a while.

Jungkook internally screams before following behind Yoongi who seems to know where exactly the nearest café is.

God, Yoongi is just too adorable for his own good.

Yoongi didn’t know what to expect when he came to watch Taehyung’s rehearsal. Sure, he knows that Taehyung is really good at what he does. Seokjin is the top student and Taehyung is just right behind him in acting, so it’s really obvious just how good he is.
211
Rumors say that Seokjin and Taehyung plan on working together after they both graduate, and everyone is also expecting Taehyung to be the top student once Seokjin graduates this year.
212
Taehyung learned from Seokjin a lot, and he’s up there and competing with Seokjin for the top spot already despite the gap of their experiences.
213
So when Yoongi comes to visit with the intention to see Taehyung perform, he knew that it would be good, but he didn’t know to what extent.

Taehyung as an actor is completely different from the Taehyung Yoongi sees all over the campus and laughing around with a lot of friends.
214
Taehyung as a student is very charming, and he knows just how to make everyone like him (except for Jungkook, probably). Taehyung knows a lot of people and he manages to keep a good relationship with them despite the games he likes to play.
215
He’s all boxy smiles and laughter when he’s with his friends.

So seeing him now with various expressions on his face as he acts, looking so genuine that Yoongi has to remind himself that Taehyung is just acting, Yoongi couldn’t help but let his emotions follow Taehyung’s.
216
When his character is boiling with anger, he shows it so well with his face, almost making Yoongi cower in fear because this is the first time he had seen that expression on Taehyung’s face. Sure, he looks annoyed when Jungkook is around, but that is nothing compared to this.
217
This expression makes Yoongi’s skin crawl, and he reminds himself not to make Taehyung mad if this is how scary his mere expression would be.

Yoongi is completely entranced by Taehyung that he couldn’t even remember anyone else who acted with him during the rehearsal.
218
All of his attention was captured by Taehyung and Taehyung only.

Taehyung has this tendency to make himself shine above everyone else, and Yoongi briefly remembers his first encounter with the man back in the dance studio. That must be it.
219
That must be why Yoongi couldn’t look away back then. Not only is his face very attractive, but his entire being is just so
 enchanting.
220
As soon as the rehearsal is done, Yoongi immediately stands from his seat as Taehyung walks towards him with a proud grin on his face. And rightfully so. He did so amazing for a rehearsal. Yoongi isn’t even going to question Taehyung anymore when he says that he’s very talented.
221
He has all of his skills and hard work as the foundation of that statement. It’s not even boasting, Yoongi realizes, Taehyung was just saying the truth.

“Was it okay?” Taehyung asks as he stops in front of Yoongi, gently wiping the small droplets of sweat from his forehead.
222
He sure worked too hard today. He’s even sweating when it’s not that hot.

Yoongi grins proudly, eyes widening with excitement. “You were so good! I didn’t know anyone could act like that,” he praises Taehyung, feeling satisfied as he sees Taehyung’s own eyes light up.
223
“Here, drink some water. You seem tired.” Yoongi offers the bottle of water he bought outside for himself, but he didn’t even get the chance to drink it because he was too busy watching. Besides, Taehyung needs it more right now.
224
“Thanks.” Taehyung gives him a light wink before Taehyung takes the water from his hand, uncapping it and taking huge gulps. Yoongi just watches for a while as Taehyung drinks, but soon tears his gaze away from the man
225
as he realizes that he might seem a little creepy for watching another guy drink. Well, it’s not his fault that Taehyung could make the most normal thing so damn enchanting.

“So,” Taehyung starts when he’s done drinking, making Yoongi feel comfortable enough to look again.
226
And Yoongi wants to scream. Why is he still so damn attractive when he’s tired from a long rehearsal, sweat and all? Everyone else looks so worn out already and Taehyung is here, sparkling with happiness as if nothing could ever bother him right now.
227
“My rehearsal is done. Should we get something to eat? I’m kinda hungry right now.” Taehyung casually grabs his bag from one of the chairs, and gestures for Yoongi to follow him.
228
Yoongi didn’t even hesitate or complain about how Taehyung shouldn’t be telling him what to do because he’s older, because Taehyung’s presence and voice are enough to make him do everything Taehyung tells him to do. And a meal sounds good too.
229
Yoongi wouldn’t deny food no matter what.

“Did you enjoy the scenes? I think it’s still lacking in some areas so I wanted to ask for your opinion,” Taehyung says as they walk side by side, receiving glances from the other students they come across to.
230
Must be weird to see a very popular guy hanging out with a not-so popular one.

Yoongi flushes with embarrassment at the question. How is he supposed to tell Taehyung that he doesn’t even know what the hell the story was about
231
because he didn’t pay attention to anything else other than Taehyung’s acting? “Oh, it’s good. I enjoyed it,” Yoongi replies with a chuckle. It wasn’t a lie anyway. He really did enjoy watching Taehyung act.
232
He’s not even a fan of movies, so Taehyung really did a good job capturing his emotions.

“I’m glad it wasn’t boring for you,” Taehyung says with a small laugh as he adjusts his bag on his shoulder. “I was afraid you would regret coming to watch me.”
233
Oh, only if he knows that Yoongi wasn’t bored /at all/. “Don’t be ridiculous. I would love to watch you act again. You’re a natural, Taehyung-ah. I really think you’ll do well even in the future.”

Taehyung turns to look at him, their gazes meeting.
234
Their steps slowed down for a little while. “Thank you,” Taehyung says, giving Yoongi the softest smile he had ever seen on the younger man. “It means a lot hearing you say that. Watch our final performance, okay? It would be at the theater and Jin-hyung and I would be there.”
235
Yoongi nods, matching the smile on Taehyung’s face. “Okay then. I’ll watch if you want me to.”

“I want you to,” Taehyung answers immediately, not even having to think about it.
236
“Okay,” Yoongi says with a nod, eyes completely entranced with the way Taehyung’s own are showing so much emotions. He couldn’t look away. “I can’t wait to see you on the stage, Taehyung-ah.”
237
The smile Taehyung gave him could just be the most beautiful smile he had ever seen on the man.

It feels like something just suddenly changed.

Yoongi thought that this would be the same as the last time, with all of the actors rehearsing together as Yoongi tries his best to pay attention to all of them rather than just looking at Taehyung.
248
But as he takes his usual seat while watching Taehyung browsing through the script, he realizes that the place is still empty save for the two of them. Are they too early?
249
“Taehyung-ah. When will the others come?” he asks, making Taehyung stop what he’s doing in favor of looking directly at him.

Taehyung offers him a gentle smile before putting the script back down on the table and busying his hands with the speaker instead.
250
“We don’t have rehearsals today. I just wanted to have some time to practice on my own. It was rescheduled to an earlier date so I feel obliged to do even better.”

Yoongi couldn’t push back the admiration building up in his chest. Taehyung is really amazing.
251
He takes his art seriously and Yoongi has so much respect for him for doing that. “Then should I leave you alone for now? Would you be more comfortable practicing on your own?”

“No, actually, I asked you to come here because I need a partner for this scene.”
252
Taehyung offers his hand forward for Yoongi to take, and Yoongi hesitates for a while but decides not to embarrass Taehyung so he stands up from his seat and slowly walks towards Taehyung’s direction before taking his hand.
253
He doesn’t know what the hell is happening, but Taehyung surely knows best. He’s the expert here after all. He knows what he needs to practice on.

“I don’t really know how to act. I probably wouldn’t be much help if you plan on making me help you practice your lines.”
254
“It’s okay. You don’t need to act.” Taehyung smiles, eyes showing off those little sparks that Yoongi had been seeing too much lately. “I want to practice this dance. My partner is a really good dancer so I want to make my part look more natural too. Can you help me with that?”
255
Yoongi licks his lips nervously, cheeks flushing red at the thought of dancing with Taehyung. He doesn’t even know how to dance! He should’ve paid attention to all those times Hoseok was trying to teach him a dance move or something –
256
it would’ve been beneficial for what he’s doing now. “I mean, I can try my best.”

“Don’t be nervous,” Taehyung says with such a warm and deep voice, and as if on cue, Yoongi feels his heartbeat slow down a little.
257
“It’s just a slow dance. It’s not that complex. I just want to learn how to do it more naturally and I feel like I can learn well if it’s with you.”

Yoongi doesn’t know how to respond to that. Is that a compliment? A flattery?
258
Taehyung sure knows his way with words to the point where everything he says just makes Yoongi feel all warm and giddy. It’s weird. It’s a very bizarre feeling – incomparable to any Yoongi had ever experienced before.
259
He allows Taehyung to guide his hands to where they should be placed, one hand on Taehyung’s shoulder while the other is clasped with Taehyung’s own. Taehyung’s hand is warm and Yoongi doesn’t mind holding onto it, to be completely honest. It’s comfortable.
260
The music plays and Taehyung guides Yoongi’s body side to side. It was a little awkward for Yoongi at first but he soon got the hang of it. Taehyung is looking at him so intensely, eyes burning with adoration and a little amusement.
261
There’s a small smile on his face and Yoongi couldn’t help but smile as well. “See? I told you it’s easy.” Yoongi nods shyly, feeling amazed with how their bodies are moving so elegantly along with the music. Yoongi didn’t know that he’s even capable of moving like this.
262
“Just as I thought, it feels really natural with you.” His hand on Yoongi’s back becomes a little firmer and Yoongi feels his body moving closer to Taehyung’s. It’s warm. It feels so warm. “Hyung,” Taehyung calls, making Yoongi look up to match his powerful gaze.
263
“Yeah?” Yoongi asks, eyes wide with curiosity, wanting Taehyung to continue what he plans on saying.

But Taehyung didn’t. Instead, he just smiles gently, features looking so ethereal and making Yoongi’s heart skip a beat.
264
His face moves closer and closer until he’s barely an inch away, eyes trained on Yoongi’s lips and lingering for a while as if waiting for Yoongi to show any objection. And when Yoongi didn’t, he smiles once again before finally capturing Yoongi’s lips with his.
265
Blood rushes to Yoongi’s head, all of his senses tingling. He shuts his eyes close and follows the movements of Taehyung’s lips, the dance and music now their last priority.
266
His hand grips Taehyung’s shoulder tightly, holding onto him as he fears that his knees would give in if he doesn’t have anything to hold onto.

Taehyung’s lips are so soft and Yoongi could feel all of his warmth coursing through his veins and all the way to his heart.
267
He swears he could hear how loud his heart is beating right now, and it makes him feel even more excited to know that it’s because of Taehyung.

Taehyung is kissing him. Yoongi isn’t dreaming.
268
When they both pull away, they just gaze at each other with smiles on their faces. “Was that part of the dance too?” Yoongi teasingly asks.

Taehyung’s boxy grin shows on his face, making Yoongi’s heartbeat accelerate. Just how is he reacting this much to something so simple?
269
“No, I just wanted to do it because it’s you.”

And so they continue to practice Taehyung’s dance, with Yoongi feeling a lot more comfortable than before. Taehyung is right. It does feel natural.
270
He has never been a dancer but he doesn’t mind dancing with Taehyung at all. It feels right. Taehyung feels so right.
