Actual conversation I had on the bike trial today:
Person: “Why does your vest that say ‘Deaf Cyclist’?”
Me: “To alert other riders that I cannot hear or react to them unless I can see them.”
Person: “But you’re not deaf. You’re talking to me right now!”...
